Perfect price and quality! 5/5!
I bought this for spares for my Hero 2. Package came quickly and nicely bubble wrapped for protection. If you go to a big box store, you will see that spare batteries go for $20 a piece! I have quickly found after purchasing my GP that all GP branded items are extremely high priced. Does that mean better quality? Eh, probably not. So of course, I did as any bargain hunting American did, I went to the internet to do my shopping. I use a Sony 32GB SD, latest FW from GP website and the LCD backpack. I have been getting about 45-50min out of a full battery with the LCD on, I use it constantly so I haven't had a chance to try without but I would assume it could do every bit of an hour if not more. To me, that seems like a pretty decent deal for $20, especially coming with 2 batteries ( I have three total including the original.) This way I can always have 1 charging, 1 in use and 1 extra for switching in between. Now, the charger feels like a $20 charger but gets the job done right. It has fold out US prongs from the back and a European adapter for trips abroad. It also comes with a car charger, that does take a bit longer to fully charge a battery (it seems like maybe 30-35min or so.) The LED on the front is a orange-ish green color when its charging and turns completely green. Overall, I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend to a friend, it works exactly how its suppose to and is very cheap!

gopro batteries!
I just got these for my new go pro so I haven't used a full charge yet. They do feel higher quality that the go pro battery in the hand, and they are a higher capacity. Also, they feel like a better fit for the go pro than the one that comes with it. The stock go pro battery has to be jammed in to fit and it really difficult to remove. These Wasabi batteries fit in easier. It's not a loose fit or anything, it's just that you don't have to force them in or have lots of trouble to get them out (Why aren't the regular go pro batteries that come with the camera like this go pro?!) Plus add that they are half the price! Pro's: Half the price Last Longer Fit better (no hassle to insert or remove) Con's: ? If you need another battery get the Wasabi! If you order the kit with 2 batteries and charger for $21.99 you get a deal. Each battery is 10.99 so x2 = 21.98, so you basically get a charger for $0.01. And the charger hooks up to a wall outlet, or your car! For a penny! It's like 4.95 shipping... unless you order one more battery to get over 30$ in the sellers (blue nook) sale and shippings free, so it's like getting another battery for 5$ more! So you get 3 better than stock go pro batteries and a charger for the car and home for 30$. Why the heck not?! That's what I did and now all I'll have to worry about is having enough memory cards lol! The stock batteries are 20$ each! And the guys over at blue nook even called to make sure I got the package and that everything was ok. Who does that anymore? I don't think I could have gotten better service. I really don't review my amazon purchases either but I got such a great deal and service that I just had to. Happy video shootings everyone!

Looser is not necessarily better.
I got this kit just a few days ago and have used each of the batteries once and the wall charger for all batteries, including the one that came with my GoPro Hero2. Here are my observations: The wall charger: Works pretty much as intended, but mine has an odd tendency for the green LED to remain on while charging. The amount of output seems to vary, so the resulting light between the red and green can vary from yellowish to orangeish colors. If I wiggle the battery around in the charger the color also flickers. It's a minor issue, since a fully charged battery does glow solid green, and I'm not going to worry about it much. I am knocking a half star off my rating though. Battery life: the batteries do last longer than the original, as they are rated at 1400mAh compared to the 1100mAh of the GoPro battery. However, both original and Wasabi batteries drain much faster that what GoPro advertises. I have seen similar issues reported all over the 'net. I am getting about 80 minutes out of the original and 100 out of the Wasabi. So... with three batteries (2 Wasabi + 1 GoPro) I can get about 4 1/2 hours of recording time, which matches the recording time of the 32GB card I'm using. It's silly to have to stop and switch batteries three times during a long mountain biking event, especially if I'm in a race, but at least I can get footage without having to worry about stopping and starting the camera during key moments. Battery fit: A lot of other reviews praise the Wasabi batteries for being easier to install and remove from inside the GoPro. That's not a good thing, it's a bad thing. One problem with GoPro Hero is that the audio recording is adversely affected by numerous sources of rattling, both external (mounting clips) and internal (loose power/mode and shutter buttons). I got both of these sources of rattling somewhat silenced, but now there's another one... the batteries! The tight fit of the GoPro original battery means it won't move around inside the unit. The Wasbai ones move around. Shake the unit with one installed and you can hear it. It doesn't sound very loud, but the mic picks it up and amplifies it inside the waterproof case. I solved this by wrapping some electrical tape around the Wasabi batteries to ensure they fit (almost) as snug as the original. Fixable, yes, but this is a another half star knock on the Wasabi kit. Car charger: I haven't used this yet. Assuming it works properly, this will be great when I do mountain bike events longer than 4 hours where I am looping back to my car or multiday events if I am car camping. Overall: for the price, this is a very good kit that solves some of the problems with the original GoPro Hero product. However it does introduce a few new, though minor, irritations.

Wasabi power, and i mean POWER.
Keep in mind, i am using the GoPro Hero2 HD Outdoor edition, so yes these do work with the new gopro's. I was a bit weary when buying this product because the part number of the batteries didn't match the one that came with my GoPro hero2. But i decided to give it a shot anyway, and it was definitely a great decision! Both batteries appear to be made very, and i mean VERY well, these aren't those cheapo ones you find plastered all over ebay/amazon. I have yet to drain them completely unlike the original battery, which i guess is a good thing? Average 2-2.5 hours of 1080p with some battery to spare (1400mah capacity, 1100mah stock). The charger at first glance seemed to be made cheaply, but after looking closer, it is not. It plug's right into the wall outlet with no problem, and the car charger adapter also works great! Gotta love having a spare battery on the charger when you're in the middle of nowhere! :D It even came with a European outlet adapter, which I hope I get the chance to use. Even if i don't, it's still a pretty cool bonus :P The charger states that it charges at a rate of about 500mah, if that is correct you can expect a charge time just short of 3 hours on AC power. I have yet to try it out from being completely drained on the car adapter, but i would assume it is the same. It came with no instruction manual, but i can see as to why you would need one. Plug the battery into the charger, the charger into the wall, and wait for the light to turn from red to green, That's it. It also stops charging when the battery is full to prevent damage to the cell(s) in the battery. The best part about this set is that you get essentially two batteries for the price of one. The original GoPro battery retails for about $20+tax. You can get this set for around $28 with shipping and you also get a charger with it! Not a bad deal. :D Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. And i will probably end up buying another when i get a second gopro.

Great batteries, even better support
UPDATE: Shortly after posting my original review I was contacted by the company President Marc who profusely apologized for the fitment issues stating there was a manufacturing defect that affected 5% of the batteries in their latest lot. He shipped me new batteries right away and the fit is perfect. This is the first time I've received such prompt and personal support from any company, small and large. It's clear to me that Blue Nook stands behind their products and is willing to go above and beyond to make things right. Stuff happens and it's comforting to know that there are companies out there like Blue Nook that have the customer's interest as their number one priority. I was not expecting such prompt and professional service. Because of the high quality support and the fact that my fitment issues were resolved immediately, I highly recommend these batteries. Five stars! Great value that can't go wrong. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a great value considering it comes with a decent charger kit and two batteries. Build quality on both seems good but I have issues with the batteries fitting in my Hero 2. One fits well enough that the GoPro door closes and latches. The other is a terrible fit and I can't get the door on the GoPro to close. Neither of these batteries fit as well as the GoPro battery. When used with the case the batteries will stay in, so they are useable, but it is a little annoying that the combo doesn't work as well as OEM. Not sure how much I can blame the battery manufacturer as I blame the crappy design on the GoPro battery cover itself.

Awesome Kit for Older GoPro's
The kit comes with the following Items: - An AC Wall Charger (the prongs fold in to reduce the amount of space needed your carry bag) - Two 3.7V, 1400mAh (the OEM battery is only 1100mAh so these have a higher capacity, which equals a longer run time) - A car charger so you can charge your batteries on the go. I have a car charger on my motorcycle so I can swap out batteries and never miss a moment while riding. - An international outlet adapter for those of you who travel abroad. The price for this kit is much cheaper than what you will pay directly through GoPro and actually gets you a higher capacity battery. Some people have complained that these batteries are loose when installed in the camera and also the charger; I can tell you have not had that problem with my kit. The batteries charge in about 3 hours and work great. I can't tell you how many times I missed some good shots in years past with the old GoPro due to not having enough batteries on hand.

A solid "buy" but the charger has faults
It's obvious this product is a hit, and I have no regrets buying it, but the charger has faults. 1.) The battery charger only charges a single battery at a time. I made the assumption it charged two. Now looking at the pictures, it's obvious. My bad for not noticing, but Wasabi's bad for designing it like this. Extra work, doubles the charging time and something else to remember before heading out with the gopro (did I charge BOTH batteries?) 2.) and worse, the 12v car adapter uses a non-standard plug. Really? they couldn't put a usb plug on the charger? I have a 12volt charger in my car with a micro USB connector, but I can't use it. How many proprietary (or non-standard) plugs do I have to carry around? Of course, if you lose it (or heaven forbid confuse it with one of the other proprietary plugs you have), you're SOL. 3.) Their use of the proprietary charge cable means you can't recharge in the field with a battery pack. Apart from the charger, the batteries work fine. It also comes in very minimalistic packaging. I like that. I'd buy again, but not without griping a bit.

good batteries so far!
The two wasabi batteries came fully charged so I had a chance to use onebattery in my GoPro2 and it performed perfectly. Even after filming for 15-20 minutes, battery still showed fully charged. As compared to my original GoPro battery, these new batteries may fit a touch looser so I wedged some material in the right side to tighten it up. I have not had a chance to recharge the batteries with the provided charger so I cannot comment on it. Happy with these Wasabi batteries as the original battery has failed to hold a charge.
