If you new or been at it a while, this book helps with providing you with information on how important composition is when drawing, painting, or creating digital artwork. It gives several artists points of view as to what is important when attempting to tell a story in two or three dimensions.

A thick, in-depth book on composition. It really covers everything involved it determining how to compose a painting. Works from the Old Masters are broken down and explained. 4 tutorials and a gallery section. Est explanation of composition I have encountered.

This book is wonderfully made and carefully crafted, the information on it is on point and it's incredibly well written, at least so far in the book. The printed images have excellent quality you can actually feel the amount of tint they used. As a 3d environment artist working in the industry I can't recommend this enough. You wont regret it.

I’m a self-taught artist and this was an easy to read book that kept my attention long enough to learn something. Some art books are really dry but this one is not one of them. I would recommend this book.

El contenido de la obra es lo que esperaba realmente útil para artistas. Sin embargo, no pongo 5 estrellas porque el producto llegó dañado y no es la primera vez que un libro enviado por Amazon me llega dañado o completamente roto, por lo que si están pensando en comprarlo, tal vez deberían pensar en otro distribuidor más especializado en distribución de libros.

Me encantó el libro de colores y luces hecho antes de este... pero esta adición es un poco decepcionante, solo está llena de pinturas antiguas que hemos visto y leído cientos de veces... Esperaba que se utilizaran ilustraciones más nuevas para explicar la composición y la narrativa, no pinturas de estilo renacentista. Muchos libros de historia del arte abordan los temas de este libro por el arte incluido, que no es lo que busco como ilustrador moderno. Creo que lo devolveré...
