We bought these filters for our son and daughter in laws apartment before the arrival of their first baby. The next door neighbor smokes and the cigarette and weed smell wafts into their apartment. They don’t smoke and the apartment management blew it off (literally) to it being an older building. These filters work beautifully to filter out weed and cigarette smell!! We are ordering more to replace the original ones we bought when it’s time.

The media could not be loaded. The filter have e nice and a modern design and make looks the vent hole much better until the we have to use the installation ring , this installation ring go out side around the filter a change drastically the look of the filter in the ceiling . Me and costumes like the filter after the box is open but after installation doesn’t look that great , the holes for the screws and the screws are exposed. We thought that the installation ring go inside the filter, after a year or less you have to be replaced , it turns black because it do a good job filtering , but you have to buy the hole thing again , the old installation ring can stay when replaced.

The product requires regular filter changes. However, replacement filters are currently unavailable, and the seller is unresponsive to inquiries. I consider this a scam, as the product is useless without a replacement filter. Furthermore, the company appears to have changed its name and now operates under the name Newrizon instead of Calab, which makes contact difficult and seems suspicious to me.

Nice looking filter, fit ideally to my air vent system, but failed to eliminate the kitchen odors - my primary reason of this purchase

Great product, I used it for custom application, to positively pressurize my glove box with contamination free air for aseptic mycology work.

I live in KY, one of the worst states in America as far as allergies go. I do realize that this isn’t the intended use for this filter, but I’m desperate. And it has made a difference since I installed it two days ago. I started feeling better within the first 30 minutes. I could feel my sinuses lifting and my headache started easing off, some. It’s not perfect, obviously. But it does help get rid of some of the musty smell in this apartment. We have a dog, a cat, and a bearded dragon, and we’ve fit three households in a 3 bedroom place. To say we’re crowded is putting it nicely🤗😉. I’m thankful for the relief that this has afforded me, but I also can’t help but marvel at how much this resembles an air filter, from back when cars had carburetors. Remember those? So I was thinking, wouldn’t it be a WHOLE lot cheaper to go to the auto parts store and just buy one of those, use double sided sticky tape to stick it to the wall, and use some double sided tape to stick a cake round to the top of the air filter! I mean, I’m not sure it would work, or work the same, but I guarantee it won’t cost $40! Just something to think about!

This filter seemingly works well, but when there are multiple inlet or outlets, the air takes the path of least resistance. Other than that, the filtration may help if the odors only have few paths of spreading. I have not noticed any reduction of irritants or dust which means this will work better in more air tight living spaces.
