Will the full-size storage frame work with a queen-size mattress?

The frame requires the use of the exact size mattress it was designed for. Larger mattresses will not be properly supported on a smaller frame.

Is there a way to adjust the tension? This lifts easily but is extremely difficult to push back down.

I've researched to do the same and no there isn't. It does get easier over time with use.
