Good Ginger On The Cheap
Very strong flavor. Strong fragrance. Great for soup stock, albeit be sparring with any spice or herb (of course). You'll only need a teaspoon for about a gallon of soup, for a mild flavor. A tablespoon might be too strong for most people, though. Be warned, 16 ounces is more than what most people will use, even if they use a lot. Ginger goes a long way in the kitchen because of its strong fragrance and flavor. If you want to try something new, try adding some ginger to some chicken or beef stir-fry, and adding some sweet Mirin rice wine as a finishing touch a few minutes before serving. Onions (especially green onions) in stir-fry really work well with ginger, but not for pork. NOTE: Bag is not resealable. If possible, buy spice bottles to keep fresh. Normally it would take several bottles to hold this much spice/herb in one bottle, but I've found that the beverage bottles linked below make for an epic spice bottle that also makes your kitchen look far more stylish (the recommended product is linked below). This way you don't have to find some weird way to reseal the bag (paperclips, tape, clothespins) after you're done, and you can just put the whole thing in the final bottle all the once. You also get the convenience of being able to close your spice bottle with just one twist, and you can throw away the ugly bag to keep your pantry organized (or keep it outside, to showcase your sense of style). You can even add your own labels on top afterwards, making a very nice gift set of spices and herbs for someone who likes to cook a lot and often runs out of spices. Epica 18-Oz. Glass Beverage Bottles, Set of 6 If you're like me and want to save money by buying stuff in bulk so you don't have to re-buy, this is good ginger on the cheap, so this is the product to buy. If you're like me and don't have much space in your house/apartment, but want style and orderliness in your kitchen, get the bottles linked above - fewer bulky/ugly bags, easy to reseal, more spice than you'll probably use in a year, and no need to re-order or go to supermarket, all for a price that anyone can afford. What's not to love, eh?

Double check your order
The product itself is great! Amazon however cannot seem to get it right. I've ordered this 3 times now and each time have only received 1 16oz bag rather than the 2 16oz bags I should have received. While I appreciate that amazon is quick to resolve the issue, I would rather not have to hope each time I order that it's going to be correct and have to spend time reaching out to amazon to correct the issue when it's not. Other than that, I love this ginger - smells great, provides great flavor, and is always fresh. I use A LOT of ginger and have tried many brands over the years. This one is a stand out for me and one I always look to first when it's time to restock.

and just use your favorite skin oil
I use turmeric as a face mask to help lighten up acne scars, heal existing acne, and an overall preventative measure for aging. If you have issues with the yellow curcumin staining your skin, try adding more of an oil that agrees with your skin into your mask formula. For example hemp oil has a 0 rating on the comedogenicity scale and has a high ratio of linoleic (omega-6) to oleic fatty acids which **~may~** help "soften" sebum in pores, as acne-prone skin has been found to have more "sticky" sebum and more oleic acid. Needless to say don't use hemp if you are sensitive to it, and just use your favorite skin oil! It is not a miracle for acne but it definitely is an extremely low cost and effective treatment if used for over a month (or two months). I used turmeric on my face for an entire summer, 3-4x a week for at least an hour, and my skin went from moderate severe with several painful cysts to light acne and mostly little small pimples, and most of my scars faded away. It is messy and kind of a hassle no doubt, but think of it as a character building undertaking ;). I have been able to easily wash the yellow off of my marble bathroom counters and porcelain sink, but it is much harder (but not impossible) to get off linoleum kitchen counters. I also take this turmeric internally by forming it into balls with a little black pepper, coconut oil, and honey that I swallow as supplements. I do not get joint pain and I never get issues with nasty burps or upset stomach by taking turmeric in this way (~ a tablespoon per ball). I have eczema on my hand and stopped using prescription and OTC steroid creams altogether about three months ago after two years of non-stop use, around the same time I started supplementing with turmeric. And I feel like the turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties have kept the eczema under control and I am slowly trying different approaches to heal the eczema completely. So far nothing disastrous has happened, and the itching hasn't been bad at all; it hasn't spread to more areas like it used to when I used the clobetasol cream, and I feel that turmeric has something to do with it. Great healing herb that's waiting to be your friend.
