Cuckoo Clock - The Traditional Vine Leaves AH 80/1

I really didn't expect this little clock to be as nice as it is.. It's a gem!! I love the sound, it's keep good time , especially for very old mechanical technology.. That's the beauty !! I'd never own a quartz time piece. I guess I'm an antique lover and appreciate tradition and craftsmanship.. I've seen a few reviewers talk about the clock being hard to adjust to keep good time.. My thoughts are.... it's new and needs a few days to break in.. I don't mind tinkering with things so I din't have an issue with adjusting for a few days until it began keeping accuracy .. So far it keeps better time monthly than my high end swiss automatic watch!! I love taking care of it and winding it daily.. I'm a creature of habit and maintaining a cuckoo is now just a part of my day!! It's a joy to own..!!

It ran for a while now it won’t run anymore and I don’t know why. And I paid almost $300 for this thing.

As far as I can tell, after only a couple of days and messing around with the pendulum weight (which is expected,) I seem to have achieved proper timekeeping. It's an amazing clock if you're willing to tinker with the attention to the mechanical nature it requires to operate.

This is the perfect size and is beautiful. There was some confusion with the installation instructions but my problem was handled quickly. After set up my clock didn’t chime. The two piece of wire that controlled chining was no easily recognized. With the company’s help that has been fixed. I would suggest that all pieces that need to be removed be a red color. Now all that has to happen is it stops scaring my dog.
