Buy it!!!! Do not even hesitate to buy this helmet!!!! This helmet is of great Quality you will dig it, it does it’s job and does it right and it is a great price!!!!! Yes!!! There are more expensive helmets out there and yes there are cheaper helmets out there. But this helmet is strong, it and everything on it functions perfectly, it’s got mad style, it looks Bad Ass on your head, it has triple protection and the price, is absolutely amazing. Long story, longer. This helmet fits and feels great on your head, it looks super cool, it has amazing features and Most importantly it works great and it is tough as nails. It fits your head snuggly even without wearing the chinstrap, with the chinstrap on your chin, it fits really secretly and with the ear protection on, you will feel as though not even a tornado could rip this helmet off your head. You really don’t even need to wear the chin strap if you are using the ear protection. And yes the ear protection works great. I bought this helmet for arboring and I really like it for that but I will admit it, I wore this helmet during a large wood burn, yes I did feel like the biggest Puss wearing a helmet during a wood burn, but “I’ll tell you what”!!!! I will never do another wood burn without wearing a helmet with a face shield, the screen face shield on this helmet kept my face 30° cooler when I was standing close to the hot Fire I’m not much of a chinstrap wearing kind of guy, but wearing the chinstrap with this helmet does definitely make it way more secure on your head and it just feels and fits better when wearing the chinstrap. Specially if you wear glasses, the chinstrap will keep the forehead section of the helmet riding a little higher on your forehead, to keep the helmet from hitting your glasses and being uncomfortable. One negative, is that the adjustable air vents / heat vents on the side of the helmet are a little tricky to get to when the ear protection is attached, but it’s no big deal, you can still work it.

Helmet goes together easily. It's slightly disassembled for shipping. The hi-viz green is a good safety addition to the physical safety of the helmet and hearing protection, making you more visible to other equipment operators. The hearing protection has been comfortable and effective during extended use. The screen mesh does a good job of keeping wood chips off your face.

Way better quality than I was expecting. Getting back into climbing after many years, needed some inexpensive gear to get me back up in a tree safely, and thought this would be a cheap helmet that'd last a climb or two, but its surprisingly heavy duty for the price. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is the ear pro and face shield both squeak obnoxiously when rotating into place. It would just take a simple teflon washer to eliminate the annoying squeaking. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to someone who isn't ready to drop hundreds on a really nice helmet yet, this gets the job done.

Very comfortable, well built and good sound protection. I wore this helmet for about a week of tree pruning with a gas chain saw in hot weather. The helmet was super comfortable, snug without the chinstrap, and the face shield did a great job while allowing good visibility. The integrated ear protection worked well. It took a while to figure out how to put the pieces together. That did not stop me from buying another one for a different location. It still warrants 5 stars.

This helmet fits well and provides good protection. I am glad I bought it. It provides good protection when you are working in the trees.

I volunteer with the Florida Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Teams where we do a lot of heavy tree work such as removing huge trees off of roofs and a lot of bucking, so a good helmet is a must. Overall the helmet fits well and has kept my head from injury from widow makers and debris. My issue is that whenever I take the muffs off, they pop out of the holder. The clips are not sturdy enough to keep them in place. It is time consuming and a hassle have to unbuckle and correct this while I’m on a steep roof. The chin strap is also pretty small and uncomfortable. Overall it’s a safe helmet. The face shield works well and is easily adjusted. I would purchase one again if they corrected the issues noted. I contacted the manufacturer noting my issues via their website. Without prompting, they sent me a brand new helmet within a week. You can’t beat that kind of service!

Although Forestry helmets are still way behind cycling helmets for example, this helmet is extremely reliable. The hat is great quality, the straps work and are easily adjustable from the back. It is bright. The ear muffs are really solid and work very well and the mask is very good quality and easily removed if you prefer to wear just glasses. I’ve tried a few, this is great. Worth the investment. One thing, it is fairly heavy compared to a basic mesh mask and ear muffs, so you wouldn’t want this imho for brush cutting for example. You would need one for each task.
