Beautifully finished. Chrome adds a touch of class and flash to the turntable as well as function. You may find something cheaper, but I doubt it will be better. Remember you get what you pay for.

Turntable weights aren't that complicated, but this one has a little style. Not too expensive, but did come in a nice box with a pillow. It's a little tall for my U-Turn Orbit Plus turntable, but a couple of felt pads fixed that. I might have gone with a shorter weight for that turntable (it has a pretty short lid), but I highly recommend. The records visibly flatten out compared to not using a weight, and the shape of the weight means that you are less likely to contact the weight with the tone arm.

As we all know, sometimes an LP will not lie flat on the turntable. The horror. You push it down but it just will not stay flat. Well, it is shiny, and has a cool name, Nob sound.

I wasn't sure about the real effect the clamp may have on the sound, but it really improved it. To be more specific about it, somehow the bass were boosted, so the sound now is more balanced between the bass, medium and high frequencies, it really sounds better.The clamp is really nice crafted and finished, it's a high quality product at a very reasonable price.

Very nice. Keeps the vinyl flat and in place especially those older ones or if you got a few that are slightly warped. Even comes in a nice wooden box, that I have since allocated for other purposes.

Got this mainly for the looks and then whatever benefits it has as a weight. It reminds me of the spinning reels of a big Akai 10" reel to reel I used to have in the way that the 4 cutouts spin around (very nostalgic looking). When illuminated by a small yellowish white light that I have lighting up my turntable, it provides a very warm and relaxing look.

This weight is just the right weight for the two turntables that are being used. Easy on the eyes, and excellent quality.

I don't really think it improved the sound that much. On a cheaper turntable I could tell a bit more difference than on my higher end turntable. It does look cool, but I would rather invest the money in other areas which create better sound. I did return this item.
