Hunting tripod
This works well but does not lock your gun in it. Its more just a pivoting resting point. If it locked the barrel in for hands free operation, i would have given 5 stars

Great for the gun range
This tripod can be quickly setup. If the height isn't right you can spread the legs out to quickly readjust. My camera tripod isn't stable unless the legs are all the way out but this tripod is much faster than my camera tripod. I got the tripod that you twist each leg to lock in the length. That's fast enough for me. I see no need for the lever locks. It's always very stable. I highly recommend this for target shooting but I don't think they are fast enough for hunting. For that I'd recommend a Trigger Stick. This adjusts if you are sitting very low or if you are a very tall person and use it standing. The range of heights is great.I wish I would have purchased this long ago.

Not a well-made or designed product
So I bought this to take out medium range shooting. It’s a good option if you don’t always want to have to get on the ground to take four and 500 m shots. I wanted to see how well I could shoot standing up. Not so much for hunting which I think is what most people would use this for.The first thing I noticed when I got it out of the package was how long it was. It has telescoping legs but the minimum size is quite unwieldy. They should’ve added a segment and shorten the length of each segment so you could compact it down more. The second thing I quickly noticed as the twist locks would not turn. This means I cannot lock the legs in the place and renders the item absolutely useless. A quick Google made me realize I am by not the only one that has this problem. So if you are going to order this I would recommend not going with a twist lock version but getting the lever lock version instead. I generally prefer twist locks because they have nothing to snag things on and you usually have a better control over the tension. The third thing I noticed was that this is not very sturdy. You have to have a bit of diameter to the legs to have sturdiness and considering this thing goes extends up to about 70 inches and the widest leg segment is .7 inches, you’re just not going to have that much stability. This is the width of what a table tripod leg should have. Most tripods that extend over 5 feet or at least an inch and a half at their widest. Then I look at the area where the legs connect to the center hub. It’s just a hex nut and bolt connection. This is not very stable and not very adjustable and it just seems cheap. Most tripods have elaborate mechanisms where the legs connect to allow you to adjust tension, locks the legs at certain angles, provide durability and long lasting use, and prevent the connectors from backing out.The one thing that I like about this is the yoke. It is very solid and and has cushioning to rest your hand guard of your rifle on. Unfortunately it has a proprietary mount so you can’t just take the yoke off and put it on a sturdier tripod. All in all I’m pretty disappointed in this although I did apply for an exchange to see if I can get legs that work properly. However I tried an even with the legs fully retracted which still gives you about 3 feet of height Is it provided very little support for shooting. Probably because the legs cannot lock. You’re better off going with a mono pod with much less bulk and much easier movement, but it will provide about the same stability.Edit: I added comparisons of a mono pod that I find more compact, and the tube size much more stable, and feet more secure. I realize that this is a tripod but the principles of construction remain the same. Monopod legs are typically no bigger than tripod legs.Very disappointed.

Meh
This tripod works, but the top is very wiggly. That being the case, I can not use it to shoot more than about 150 yards away. The rubber boots on the bottom can be removed, so that the tripod sticks can be pushed into the ground, which is a nice feature.

very stable and portable platform
this beats the old shooting sticks with only two legs the tripod legs are sturdy and do not collapse until you unlock them, this is a must for any rifle shooter
