Safe and effective for removing BGA.
Review: Effective Blue-Green Algae Remover – Worked Within Days!I was dealing with a pretty persistent case of blue-green algae in my aquarium—it was covering my substrate and creeping onto the plants. After trying to manage it naturally with lighting adjustments and water changes, I finally decided to try this blue-green algae remover, and I’m so glad I did.Within just a few days of using it, I saw a noticeable difference. The dark, slimy coating started to break up and disappear, and the water looked clearer. I followed the dosing instructions carefully, and it didn’t affect any of my fish, shrimp, or snails, which was a big concern for me. Everything in the tank handled it great. Now, a week later, the tank looks almost brand new. The plants can breathe again, and I’m not fighting the constant spread. This remover did exactly what it claimed to do—and fast. Highly recommend it if you’re dealing with BGA and want a reliable, safe solution.

This really helps......
I have posted this review before....but for you who might have missed it, here it is again.Want crystal clear water in your aquarium? I can help! Ok….I am a bit of a newbie to fish and aquariums but I do a lot of consulting with Dr. Google and now, after five months with my lovely little female betta, Kiro, I am fast becoming a fish person. I was gifted Kiro by a neighbor when my husband died and she has given me a hobby that is relaxing and fun. Never thought of a fish, but now I love them. Kiro arrived in a one gallon tank which was quickly switched out to a Fluval Spec V with all the trimmings. I am too lazy still to work on live plants so Kiro has a major assortment of silk plants that are rotated weekly. Coconut huts, castles, porcelain logs, floating logs….if Amazon sells it, she has it.Now about 20 days ago I started getting an algae bloom. Soon my poor Kiro was swimming in pea soup. I made a quick consultation with Dr. Google and came up with the following plan. All the products are available on Amazon and all of them are inexpensive. And understand, 3 days after installing this system, I have crystal clear water. Here is what I ordered:1. 5W UV-C Algae Bloom Clean Light for Aquarium Water Clean Green Clear Waterproof Clean Lamp ,2. Polishing Filter Pad - Superior Polishing Pad for Aquarium3. inTank PREMIUM THICKNESS Aquarium and Pond Filter Floss4. Ultralife Blue Green Slime Stain Remover5. Blue Ribbon Pet Products ABLPLY7 Polyester Floss Bag Filter Media for Aquarium6. Fluval SPEC Biomax7. UP Aqua Rain Bar Unit Fish Tank Outflow PipePlace your UV light in the pump section of the tank, this way it is behind the plastic and cannot hurt the betta (or fish)…..I turn on the UV light in the morning and turn it off when I go to bed. Ignore the reviews that say it kills the fish….it kills algae if installed correctly.I added about ½ scoop of the Ultralife stain removed dissolved in some tank water, scoop comes in the package and the tube of Ultralife is good for an entire human lifetime.I took out the foam insert filter and placed the biomax in the bottom opening. In the top opening I removed the carbon filter (and don’t think I will use that again) and I placed a handful of rinsed regular floss, stuffed it in there. On top of the filter I placed a cut out piece (a bit smaller than an Iphone SE) of the polishing pad with the rough side down. Then I placed the handle to hold it and put the inTank Pond Filter floss on top. Here is the link where I learned how to do this: Poly / Polishing Pad Filter Media Mod for Spec Aquariums - Spec-TanksI attached the Rain Bar to the outlet of the filter motor and adjusted it so that it pointed downwards sending the freshly filtered water to the bottom of the tank but leaving the top without any current as bettas do not like a lot of moving water. Two days later, happy betta, crystal clear water. And just for fun I ordered an air bubbler, it might be that I enjoy the bubbles more than Kiro but we will see…. Here is the link for my bubbler also on Amazon and super inexpensive. bedee Aquarium Air Pump, Quiet Fish Tank Air Pump, Small Oxygen Pump for Fish Tank 1-15 Gallon with Air Stone Silicone Tube Also I got the one with the clip and returned it for the one with the suction cup….works better on my Fluval Spec V tank as the water is at the top of the tank almost.

It actually works...
I can't believe I had never heard of this stuff before. Followed the directions exactly - two doses two days apart, no water changes. The BGA was gone in 5 days.

Miracle Cure
I don’t know what’s in this stuff, but it is magic! I went through so many options that nearly killed my fish but THIS is the only one that has worked. The pictures are of first night of treatment, and 2 days later.Absolutely no reaction from my fish. Though, I will say I advise users to use an air stone for a few days after using this, as it can reduce DO levels.Three weeks on treatment and my hassle of having to deep clean this tank every week is gone. The only leftover of the cyanobacteria is in the substrate (this is why I put 4 stars), but it’s a HUGE improvement.BUY THIS!
