Dead in less than 90 days
I love my Fluval flex tanks. I have a 9g and a 15g. Their pumps? Suck. And figuratively. Bc they don’t suck. They die. This one in less than 2.5 months. The filter media in my heavily planted tanks (no sand or gravel- course rock only) is fine. Nothing clogged. I’m now replacing pumps is each tank again, replacement 5 & 6. Sixth pump replacement now, 3/tank, each less than a year old, low bioload. Two fluval name brand pumps replaced for each tank and one off brand. It’s so frustrating. Now considering a more expensive replacement of another brand. I need to stop recommending people buy this tank or these pumps.

Thank Goodness!
I bought a Fluval tank about a year ago. Started a Beta Sorority tank and I absolutely love the tank. The tank started making a very loud noise a few days ago and after determining the issue I ordered this part. All nice and quiet again! If this was all I had to replace after a year I’m happy! And my girls are happy, too!

Great Pump ~ Just not a long life
I will give this 4 stars, because it is a great pump. My problem is they do not last a long time as anything else these days. Life expectance is around 6-7 months. Which I think should be more like 1-2 years.
