CarlinKit 4.0 Wireless CarPlay

I have a 2019 Camry which does not have Android Auto and only wired Apple Play. This makes Android Auto work by wireless. Android Auto works great as should. I did notice a few issues although the benefits hugely outweigh the issues.1) Every once in awhile(approx. 1/20 times) wireless someone does not connect at startup(I my have to force a reconnect). Not exactly sure if it is interference or on the Phone side.2) When talking on the phone through Android Auto and then turning off the car, the call is dropped and not switched to the phone. Usually other bluetooth devices don't drop the call but switches the call to the phone.3) When using Android Auto with calls, the call quality is standard quality and not HD. The bluetooth connection to the Toyota car directly is in HD and the call quality is noticeably superior.Overall, very happy I can use Google Maps for navigation and listen to my music through Android Auto considering Toyota does not have Android Auto for this year.

I like the small size and it looks like a good product. When it works, it works just fine. The problem is that it simply does not stay connected. It drops out every few minutes and it takes two or three minutes, or more, before it can find itself and reconnect. If you are trying to use a nav app on your phone through this thing, it is completely useless because it is so undependable. I would return it but I think I have had it too long. I am using it in a 2022 Hyundai Palisade with an iPhone 12.

This product works as advertised until it freezes.I link my gps to show on Apple CarPlay on the car screen, sometimes it freezes and you can imagine what happens when you are trying to get somewhere using the directions, I’ve taken a wrong turn or two.I have to reset the unit to make it work again

I’m super happy with this. Wireless Apple CarPlay is Awesome! Not having to think about it, no fussing around with cables, I just get in and go. Presto, it’s connected and ready to go. Love it!Upon startup it does its connection sync with your iPhone, takes maybe a minute. After that is done, it disconnects from Bluetooth and uses a Wi-Fi connection from the Carlinkit to your iPhone. Sound quality is much better than a Bluetooth connection.

About 90% of the time it will connect to CarPlay. At times I have to disconnect it and reconnect it to make it work. Hard to do if you are driving.

The first time that I connected the device, look very good. The product works very well.But, the second and so time the product wasn't connect to the vehicle. The black and red screen doesn't show anymore, and the car shows "no device connected"The product light flashes in purple (not red) and when I try to connect via Bluetooth the light changes to blue, but after a few seconds the device disconnected and the flash purple light turns on againI have the wi-fi and Bluetooth turned on in my phone.The car configuration has no changesBut, it doesn't work anymore...

Works great and it’s a lot faster than the previous cheaper brand I bought (it died in less than 3 months).

Funcionó bien 2 meses, después no volvió a funcionar al solicitar soporte o cambio, nadie responde, mal servicio, no lo recomiendo
