Clip-on Blue Light Blocking Eyewear

This is a fantastic product. Could not be more pleased with the purchase. Everything about it stands out. I hope the vendor who produces and sells them is doing well. I purchased a long time ago and should have given a review then but I have had them for a long time now and used them routinely so its better now. Sounds silly but everything about them was impressive. The plastic case came in a silky pouch that can be used to actually clean the lenses. The case itself is sturdy plastic that protects them perfectly and holds it tightly so they don't rattle around. The way they attach to the glasses is very well executed, as in they don't just slide over but have a sturdy spring action that makes certain they stay snug and never fall off and go on easily and then THEY WORK! I remember when I received them there was a little note that said they were a small family business so if I could give a review it would go a long way. It was one of those....oh I really ought to do it thing you don't end up doing but here I am by chance and feel compelled to do as I thought I should some time back. Hope their business is doing great and I would buy again except they still work perfectly after a few years and I STILL HAVE THE CASE AND THE LITTLE POUCH THEY CAME JN

These blue blockers really work from the first night. During the last 2-3 years, my sleep cycle has been disrupted. It has been hard to settle down at night, and no matter what time I go to bed, 5-6 hours of sleep was all I could get. I started using the Spectra479 nighttime clip-ons for about 2 hours before I want to sleep. I continued using my computer and phone as usual and felt a pleasant, normal sleepiness around 10:00-10:30 pm. I keep the blue blockers on until I get into bed and take my glasses off. I've been able to sleep a full 8+ hours and wake up extremely refreshed. Highly recommend!The clip-ons are well made and easy to put on and off my Rx glasses. The included plastic case is convenient and protects them well.

They arrived today, the packaging was awesome, very upscale, durable. I've been wearing them since about 6 this evening, so far my eyes are not stinging, they don't feel sticky and tired. I've been staring at computer screens for the last 6 hours non stop, by now I usually am rubbing my eyes a lot. I don't know how this is going to effect me long term, if I can remember Ill come give an updated review in a couple of weeks. On first try though I am very impressed with them. Oh and how's this for cool...in the package was a hand written sticky note from the manufacturer, I am so happy about this purchase, Ill likely be purchasing the day time ones as well. Im really interested to see how these do while Im driving, if they can help tone down those brighter than need be headlights people keep blindin me with!Heres the update: Its been nearly 10 days since I started wearing them, no gritty eye, they don't even feel tired, my body is tired from the whole being awake at night thing but not my eyes. I don't feel like there are 10k needles poking my eyelids when I blink, no headache, I think less overall tension in my eye/head area. Im not squinting to try and keep my eyes from being flooded by all the brightness. I work nights and I have to stare at computer screens a lot but there is no bloodshot or even irritation going on. So yes, still a winner, matter of fact I think I just talked a co worker into buying some. Thank God for talented people who make good products we the people can use!

This is an over-the-glasses fit. The frame scratches easily. It also causes your original glasses to slide down your nose, becoming too heavy to fit properly.

I have Meares-Irlen Syndrome. My eyes and brain don't like to form pictures in many common lighting conditions, especially with bright screens or fluorescent light. Blue light is the bane of my existence.The specific tint of the nighttime glasses blocks everything I need. I wear them full-time.Nothing looks or feels "cheap" about these.*I will tell you that the little silicone no-scratch grips that rest against your prescription lenses are very prone to slide off when cleaning these. Do be mindful, or you'll repeatedly be on the floor with a magnifying glass. (Ask me how I know.)They have dramatically helped to settle my nervous system and reduce my light-triggered migraines.Fluorescent lighting situations, like doctors' offices and shopping are much less rough on my nervous system. My shopping anxiety is practically gone.I am extremely grateful that these exist.

Got both for day time and night time use. Great quality items, they clip easy to my prescription glasses. They even enhance the sharpness of the picture. The ones for night time / the orange ones/ are a little too orange, but if they protect against blue light, that is what matters. The day time ones / the yellow/ are incredible. I barely feel I am having something on top of my glasses. They add that thin warm yellow filter and it is a pleasure using them. I would recommend this product!

I’m embarrassed to say I had no idea these were even a thing. I had actually been wearing regular blue light glasses OVER my prescription glasses, and yes, I looked crazy. Finding these clip ons have been a lifesaver. The way my glasses are shaped, they fit over them perfectly and you can hardly tell I’m wearing something extra. I WFH, so I’m staring at a computer all day, and my eyes usually dry out fast and become super irritated and strained prior to having these. They definitely top the old pair of blue light glasses I had. I’m on week one and no complaints so far. Highly recommend for the price.

A little expensive and made tv too Orange to watch. Was worried they would scratch my glasses and didn’t love them so returned.
