Amongst the best I've heard
As someone who has recently starting travelling fair distances by train again recently, I thought it was time for a new pair of IEMs. I've made my way through many different pairs of headphones over the last 10 years or so, but these are easily the most enjoyable I've ever owned when it comes to music on the move. For context, I use a pair of Sennheiser HD800S with its own dedicated headphone amplifier for home use which are incredible headphones and would never consider using them for travelling but the gap in enjoyment I get between the Moondrop and the Sennheiser is nowhere near as big as you would expect it to be and increasingly, if I want to listen to music in bed, I'm choosing the IEMs over the Sennheisers. The most important advice I can give on these earbuds is to spend some time going through the supplied silicone and rubber tips and find the best possible fit, and then maybe go a step further and discard the tips altogether and get yourself some good quality foam tips which will be more comfortable, stay in for longer and give you the best seal between the ear canal and the IEM. I find the Comply tips the best of the best in terms of fit and sound quality but I'm having some very good success with Sonicfoam tips which are a lot cheaper. Using different sizes of tips can help tune the balance of the sound too so if you crave more bass, you may need larger tips and if they're too bass heavy, smaller tips, but my point is that getting the fit right is fundamental to getting the best out of the excellent IEMs and I suspect that the vast majority of those who have been disappointed with the sound didn't spend the time getting this right because when it is, the sound quality from these IEMs is nothing short of sublime. Very slightly on the warm side of neutral, but with a huge open soundstage, masses of detail, dynamics and tonal accuracy that really conveys vocals and the weight of piano and stringed instruments beautifully. I can find myself listening to these on a train journey for hours and being utterly immersed in the recordings I am listening to. I'm not even going to qualify this with 'They are amazing, for the money' because these are amongst the most musically enjoyable headphones I have enjoyed at any level and the fact that they are standing up well against my HD800s headphones says a lot.One thing you get with such good quality IEMs is the need for a good source. If you're going to use a phone I would at least advise a dongle DAC such as one made by Ifi or AudioQuest because if your phone still has a 3.5mm socket then it's not going to do these IEMs justice. If I'm having to travel light then I'll use a Periodic Audio Rhodium DAC with my phone which performs quite nicely, but even then, the difference between that and my dedicated DAP is easy to decipher, so a good source is essential if you really want to hear what these can do.I can't say I've found the included cable in any way annoying. It doesn't get in a complete tangle just by looking at it like some of my older IEMs have done, but the fact that it's replaceable is a nice touch as I've always found that it's inevitably the cables that die first.I've written this review after around 3 months of owning these IEMs and I'm getting more and more enjoyment out of them all of the time. They definitely benefit from being run in for a period as from new, although they still sounded great, they sounded a lot more restrained than they do now but from my experience you noticed them really improve after around just 10 hours of use. For the money, I think these things are an absolute audiophile bargain and I hope to be with them for many more hours of absolute listening pleasure.

Stunning budget IEMs, but….
While sound is always subjective, for me these are perfect for on-the-go high quality sound when paired with a dongle DAC. My only gripe is the cable is really awful so I would bite the bullet and get a Linsoul cable while you’re at it. I use these with the Fiio KA1 which has a lightening connector with my iPhone and Tidal lossless. Terrific combo. Also super comfortable in the ears.

The Truth and nothing but the Truth
For context; I am an audiophile who is extremely picky with sound. I own XM4s and despite spending ridiculous money on them I wasn't satisfied fully. So I found these. They are 30 ohms with a 15% +- meaning they can be 15% easier or harder to drive between pair to pair due to the manufacturing process. I believe mine are 15% harder because they don't get very loud on my switch but when used with a Dac they're more than loud but I am a rare case they should be perfect to drive with a phone for most.I tested them on an S21 Ultra using high res audio, flac files and a USB Dac. They sound.....amazing! The clarity truly is unmatched. While my XM4s muffle instruments into this big mess of sound these keep everything clear and able to breath, you can easily identify any instruments and where exactly they are in the track. I have even started to hear things I never did before in my music! The downside is the bass, it's lacking. These really are sparkly and bright because there's borderline no bass. Well that's a lie, there is bass and it's extremely tight and extremely satisfying if you want clarity but if you're a bass head and like your V curve than these aren't for you. The thump of a drum will be extremely tight, sound exactly like irl but it won't shake your eardrums like some other IEMs.The sound stage is very good, it's nowhere near open back so don't get your hopes up but for an IEM it's fairly wide!No the paint won't chip, that's coming from people living in the middle of volcanos, I'm in Ireland myself and these bad boys don't even heat up a little after hours of use, the paint would never bubble or peel here unless I was dumb and left them in a room with a high end PC running at max all day, a series x doing the same and all the windows shut but at that stage it's your own fault.

Amazing.
These are amazing. Vocals have never been clearer and highs sound amazing. A common complaint with these are they don't have a lot of bass, however they have very tight and punchy bass, they just don't rumble your ears. The spring tips are an amazing inclusion to ensure a good fit in the ear. Would highly recommend.

Lost sound
For some reason after about 5 months of use with no issues the right speaker has lost of its sound, it still plays sound but is way quieter than the left one. I've done tests and it is the products fault.Edit: They have sent me a replacement for the broken earphone

Right Ear begins to fail immediately
Really disappointed with these. As far as I can tell the audio quality is great, but when they don't even last more than some weeks... Needing to smack an earbud to get it to work (or any electric) is something you'd expect after years of use. Not immediate after purchase...The whole point of buying something expensive and high quality like this is for it to last. This does not do that.

Good quality but sound becomes imbalanced after 2-3 months
The IEMs are pretty good sound wise, I'm no audiophile, but they suited my needs perfectly. However, in the last few weeks they've started losing their sound quality. At random after a bit of use they start losing volume on one of the drivers and it causes an imbalance that is quite annoying. There's temporary fixes you can do for them, to remove the accumulated moisture from the drivers, but this shouldn't be happening to begin with. Unlike other reviews posted here, it seems that the models sent to the UK don't get a box of spare filters to replace. So we are left with a faulty product down the line without any way of fixing it.
