Good drill, perfect for DIY projects
This is a great addition to my tool box. I do a lot of improvements myself and it has served me well. It's probably the least powerful in the DeWalt line so, I'm pretty sure it's not contractor grade. I was able to drill through 1/2" cement backer board with it so, It's still a good choice for the money if you need a cordless drill for anything from building shelves to installing bathroom or floor tile yourself. Would buy again if I needed one.

Great value for the money
This is the second DeWalt drill of the same model using same batteries I have owned. I dropped the first one from a considerable height damaging the transmission. It can be repaired but since I needed one quickly, bought this one.It doesn't gobble battery power and while it weighs slightly more than some other models, the price and quality plus ease of use make it a solid purchase.As someone who has used this model for several years I highly recommend this drill.
