Work great for me, I terminated several damaged strands. Using these and a cleaver you can make good field terminations with little investment.

I would have given this a five but it didn't include a sleeve for retaining the fiber inside the screw end. It surely got the job done on the second try but it needs a sheathe or grommet for the individual fibers.

I bought a pack of 10 to make 4 connections. I got one good connection and messed up the other three. I tore the connectors apart to see what the issue was. There are a couple of transitions between the components in which the optical glass hangs up and sometimes breaks. The final entrance into the polished end is one such area. I bought a second set of 10 to try to finish and still didn't have any additional success. I ended up buying some name brand USA connectors $$$$$$ but the were simpler to use and worked every time. These would be a great deal with some improvement on manufacturing tolerances.

So I bought these in case I needed to do a quick repair on the fiber in my home. I have been working with fiber optic cables for several years so I'm not new to this. I stripped the fibers to the 10mm/25mm spec that the chinese directions say, and put them in the connector like the chinese directions say. And not 1 of them worked. Don't buy these.

I'm not that good at fiber connections, but I got zero out of ten to work, maybe some were my fault., But not all. It is a quick and great design, but none worked for me.

Only got one connector to work out of 10 pack. Bought 3m and works every time.
