Best router. Increased my plan speed with max.

This is 4th TP-Link router purchase for myself and friends, and all of them has performed well till today. I'm currently using Archer A6, and have used an Archer C1200 and MR-100 in the past. This is the first WiFi-6 router purchase. I had questions about WiFi-6 devices, whether they will work in WiFi-6 protocol if other older generation WiFi devices are connected to the same network. It works! WiFi-6 performance: This router was connected to a 200Mbps Internet connection. Laptops with WiFi-6 network can connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands in WiFi-6 protocol. (Some budget routers doesn't support WiFi-6 in 2.4GHz band. Stay away from it). WiFi-6 laptops can make use of the full speed in both bands. That's cool because most of the older routers in 2.4GHz can only reach around 140Mbps max. So the WiFi-6 devices will get better speed and range in 2.4GHz band with this router. WiFi-4 and WiFi-5 performances: Older generation devices like mobile phones did get around 190Mbps speed in 5GHz band. Speeds on 2.4GHz were pretty slow for me. I have currently connected this router to Archer A6 for testing it. So there is double NAT issue. Speeds varied from 30-80Mbps for download and upload for budget phones. Older generation Laptops should get more than 100Mbps with this router. Need to test it later. This is a solid purchase for anyone looking for upgrading WiFi speeds on latest laptops or medium to high end phones that support WiFi-6. For older generation devices, this might help with speed on 5GHz band. But do not expect any speed increase on 2.4GHz band. Also note that 5GHz band is useful only if the device is used in the same room where the router is. So buy it according to the needs. The setup was a breeze. Just connect to one of the WiFi network names that start with TP-Link. The password is provided under the device itself. Load a browser and start setting up. It asks for simple questions like new WiFi name and password, how it should connect to Internet, etc. Follow a few steps and it is done. There is also a "Tether" app which can also be used to setup the WiFi router. This router also supports One Mesh. So any blind WiFi spots can be fixed by getting a One Mesh supported Tp-Link repeater. It has provision to hang it on wall. Its slimmer than Archer A6/C6. Has 4 LAN ports and no USB port. Looks and feel premium. Overall its a good buy.

Strong transmission - reaches all corners of an average sized apartment without range extenders. Stable connection - no dropout or lost connections since installed like the earlier older gen dual-band router of the same make. Easy setup and control - app based setup and control offers hassle-free experience out of the box as well as monitor and control important functions right from the smartphone. Looks - looks modern and more in keeping with general household appliances that are mostly black.

One of the worst TP Link product (TP link Archer AX53) which I came across recently in terms of product quality and build, functionality wise it was perfect and I liked it. But within two days of operation the device went completely faulty and dead, without powering up. All the the other devices connected to that power supply unit doesn't have any problem and only this TP link router went faulty. The power adapter of router was working perfectly and the problem resides in this router unit. After configuring all the wifi devices with this new router, now I have to switch back to other router because of this issue and thats a hectic part for me. When called Amazon for the refund of this item, it was said not possible and to contact TP Link for support, even though 10 days replacement was specifically mentioned in the Amazon prime account. Later on Amazon customer support team said, they can replace the faulty product with a new replacement item, but there is no guarantee that the same issue may repeat or not. If it repeats, then they can consider for refund during the second time, never expected this from Amazon.

Wir haben den TP-Link Deco X50 PoE seit nunmehr einem Monat im Einsatz. Wir wollten unsere Wohnung mit einem eigenen Mesh-Netzwerk ausleuchten, hatten aber das Problem, dass das LAN-Kabel des Routers im Wohnzimmer aus der Decke kommt und kein Stromanschluss in der Nähe war (der Router steht auf dem Speicher). Also musste ein Access Point her, der über Power over Ethernet (PoE) verfügt, also keinen zusätzlichen Stromanschluss braucht. Die Installation des TP-Link Deco X50 PoE und drei weiterer Deco X50 war mithilfe der Deco-App auf dem Handy kinderleicht und hat nur wenige Minuten gedauert. Ich habe keinerlei tiefergehende IT-Kenntnisse. Die genaue Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung in der App war deshalb sehr hilfreich und sollte wirklich für jeden, der ein Smartphone bedienen kann, möglich sein. Netzwerk benennen, Passwörter festlegen und ein paar weitere Einstellungen und der Deco macht den Rest von selbst. Die Inbetriebnahme der anderen Decos War ebenso unkompliziert. Seit Einsatz der Decos in unserer Wohnung ist das Netz deutlich stabiler als vorher. Die Mesh-Funktion funktioniert super und die Geräte haben stabile Verbindungen auch bei Bewegung quer durch die gesamte Wohnung. Die Deco-App gibt einem immer wieder Reports aus und man hat einen guten Überblick über die Geräte, die gerade im Netzwerk sind. Ich persönlich finde das System mit der App deutlich laien-nutzerfreundlicher als alle anderen Systeme, die ich bisher kennengelernt habe. Ich empfehle die Deco Serie von TP-Link allen, die wie ich wenig Ahnung vom Installieren eigener Netzwerke haben, diesen Prozess aber dennoch eigenständig durchführen möchten.

Not much to say about this, easy to install, works just as fine wired as wireless in AP mode. Has the settings you expect to find. Ok performance, 1 GB internet line I got upp to 700mb wireless, second time I use the X50-poe's and both time I've been happy with the results. Would buy again if I wanted to setup a wifi network again.
