Q: ARE THE ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE PRODUCTS COMPATIBLE WITH ONE ANOTHER?

Regardless of which line of ZWILLING Fresh & Save you choose, the pumps, boxes, pouches and wine sealers are freely compatible with one another. You can seal the grey boxes with the stylish La Mer vacuum pump – or vice versa.

Q: HOW LONG DO VACUUM-SEALED FOODS STAY FRESH?

Freshness depends on factors such as initial germ content, preparation hygiene, storage and refrigeration conditions. The ZWILLING App calculates the approximate shelf life based on the food group and storage location (for use as a guideline only).

Q: HOW LONG DO WARM FOODS STAY WARM IN THE CONTAINERS OR POUCHES AFTER VACUUM-SEALING?

Hot foods are not permitted to be vacuum-sealed and must always be cooled down to at least room temperature beforehand. FRESH & SAVE products do not have any insulating functions and therefore do not keep food warm.

Q: HOW DOES THE QR CODE WORK?

The QR code links the stored food with the ZWILLING App. Once the food is approaching the end of its shelf life, the app provides a reminder in good time and helps to avoid food waste.

Q: IS THE WINE SEALER ALSO SUITABLE FOR OTHER LIQUIDS OR ONLY WINE?

The vacuum seal can be used for any beverages, juices and even oil or vinegar – provided that they are not carbonated. It can be used in all European standard bottlenecks (17-19 mm inner diameter).
