Starkey Hear Clear Wax Guards Newest Version 2014 (4Filters/Pack Instead of 8)

These are wonderful for my Starkey hearing aid. The price is perfect and it saves a trip to your audiologist. I find that changing these filters on my hearing aid at least once a week (since I have a lot of ear wax) improves the quality of my hearing. At these prices on Amazon.Com, I found it better to have a good supply rather than try and brush and clean the filters every week with the small brush I got when I bought my hearing aid. While that is a good practice for quick daily cleaning, after a while there is too much wax build up on the hearing aid to clean it on an individual basis. Replacing the filter is quicker and easier and with the prices of these being much cheaper, I ordered several packets. The service was great and they arrived quickly. Especially helpful for travel out of town and quick road trips or emergencies at work (e.g. when you get a 'low battery' signal or other messages from your hearing aid).

Really comes in handy when the hearing aids get clogged up. Simple to use and works great. I normally get these via the VA but for some reason the VA keeps saying they are on back order. So I needed to fix my hearing aid and went online and purchased them from this dealer. They are exactly the same as the VA uses because they are from Starkey.

We've been buying the filters a the hearing aid store at a ridiculous price. This do a great job keeping the wax out of the tube between the hearing aid piece that fits in the ear and the battery/brain that fits behind the ear. They even offered me a discount on my next purchase. Very pleased!

I chose this rating because the product works, renews performance of hearing aids and also because my audiologist uses this brand. They are easy to install and to replace when needed. I chose this brand because I think they are made in Germany. Sometimes products made in Japan don't hold up. I've used these filters ever since I've worn hearing aids -- five years. I like the way these are packaged in a neat little case protected from any dirt and damage nearby.

These new orange Starkey wax guards work the same as the original blue or red ones but the little knobs on the end for removing the old filter keep breaking off. Still a good deal, but I keep the used sticks that still have end knobs, just in case.

Well you gotta order so many packs of them to get free delivery if you don’t and ain’t worth getting them at all I’ll look around locally in town for him rather than on here good luck how can you mess up on her air filter you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all

Often when I seem to feel my hearing aids are not quite working well, I find that just changing the filters works wonders. And these are easy to manipulate and convenient in their storage.

This product does what it is supposed to do: prevent ear wax from damaging (or plugging, at the least) a hearing aid receiver (aka, speaker). Each of the red "wands" contains a replacement filter on one end and a "tool" on the opposite end with which to remove the contaminated filter from the receiver. It is very easy to remove the contaminated filter and insert a new one.

Buenos filtros, para sacar el que está en el audifono es un poquito menos fácil pero nada grave igual sale, lo digo xq he tenido unos filtros que vienen como con una rosquita para sacar el del audífono y super rápido, pero como comente arriba es prácticamente una tonteria porque igual sale el filtro

I ran out of hearing wax guards and could not find any in the shops, so I ordered them on the amazon site. I was very pleased with these guards which are a perfect fit. They arrived promptly, were packaged well, and were less expensive than buying them at large hearing aid providers. I took out a subscription and now I will have them whenever I need them.
