Easy to clean, fit perfectly on my Excalibur deyhydrator trays
These were exactly what I was looking for to dehydrate eggs. I use them in my Excalibur Dehydrator with my 14x14 inch trays beneath them. As expected these are super soft and flexible so I left the small grid sheets in place along with the dehydrator support trays for added stability and they work perfectly. I read some reviews that complain about the edge not being high enough, it is roughly 1/4" and if it were any higher I don't think there would be enough airflow between the racks to efficiently do the job. As it is I felt that the fit at the top rack was a little too close so I don't use a tray in that position when using the silicone trays. I also noted reviews mentioning that some areas pooled so that there were thicker areas of egg that took longer to dry and I did have this happen to some degree the first time, but in doing some research I found that this is usually due to the dehydrator not being perfectly level. I checked mine and it wasn't so I used cardboard under the dehydrator to adjust until it was and the next batch came out even. My chickens lay fairly large eggs and I found that each sheet held 6 beaten eggs with room to spare, but I wouldn't want to add more as it would increase drying time and I didn't want to risk making a mess in the dehydrator. The easiest way to fill was to pull the whole tray asembly most of the way out and pour onto the sheet at the dehydrator rather than try to carry liquid filled trays to the dehydrator. Removal of the eggs was extremely easy and cleanup is easier still.

Good product
I use these at least once a week to dehydrate different purées. The dried food comes off easily when done and they are super easy to clean.

Works well
Purchased 6 for my Excalibur 9 tray dehydrator, came back a few days later a bought the 3 pack, so I’d have enough to use all my trays at once. Wish they sold them in a pack of 9. I’ve used them for dehydrating pureed dog food, tomatoes and onions and herbs. Tomato did great and was super easy to clean up. I used a baking scraper every few hours and scraped off the skins and then repositioned them on the tray. I definitely recommend using a baking scraper. They fit the 14x14 Excalibur trays perfectly, as many other reviews have stated. They get a tiny bit warm at 135 and above after 12+ hours, but that’s to be expected. No issues with staining, ripping or tearing. I didn’t find these to smell weird, rinsed with hot soapy water and used immediately after arrival. Herbs were a pain to remove from the silicone tray, they sticking terribly to the trays, making removal frustrating & tedious. I use a paint brush when transferring my dried herbs to get up the last little powdered pieces, particularly when powdering them and transferring them from the tray to the coffee grinder and into mason jars. I’ve never had herbs stick so badly, but so far this is the only negative of these silicone trays. I am looking forward to trying eggs and beef stock next. They really do contain the liquids well, but keep in mind that you need the dehydrators tray under these mats because these mats are flexible and thin, they Fold in half as soon as you pick them up. I keep them on the tray when moving and place them on a cutting board when scraping, positioning or layering my food onto them.

In many ways better than the mesh👍🏼
My only complaint about these wonderful silicone trays is that the bottom is super flexible. So you get a little pooling and uneven drying. Other than that when it comes to certain things like liquids meats and sticky stuff. These trays are much much easier to clean. I don’t notice a big difference in Dehydrating quality. I do use them in conjunction with the mesh sheets to give them more firmness on the bottom and an even dry and to avoid the pooling as much as I can. Until they come up with solid trays that are very stiff on the bottom these are as good as it gets for drying your liquids and sticky things. The ease of cleaning alone makes them worth every penny. I use mine in and Excalibur. It may be different in other brands Dehydrator’s.

Tops my Ninja pan nicely
Nice quality. I use it as a work-around for my square Ninja pan that came without a lid. It fits loosely.
