Good Detolf replacement
If anyone has a display with several IKEA Detolf cabinets and wants to expand you might be dismayed to find that they are discontinued. But have no fear!! These cabinets are a close replica to them and blend pretty good next to a Detolf.Like the Detolf these have a slight brown tinge to them as well as a little woodgrain. The wire frame is identical. Assembly is basically the same. They share identical shelf dimensions and hinges. The only real differences is the glass door seems to flex more. It isn't as stiff since it is 1mm thinner than the Detolf which is 5mm thick. The door handles are different but you can mount it in the same position if you wish and it is chrome like the Detolf. The other things is these are 1/2” taller than a Detolf. It is due to these having 1-1/2" adjustable feet. They are better since they are sturdier and adjustable but the cabinet will sit 1/2 taller and the shelves won't match up with a Detolf. My OCD couldn't take it so I 3d printed some 3/4" feet and it sits flush with my Detolf cabinets top, bottom and the shelves. You could probably simply remove the feet altogether and sit it on some pieces of 1x wood and be really close. I will post my designed feet on thingiverse if anyone wants them.

Exceptional Seller
Case was as advertised, but one door had a stress crack when unwrapped. The seller had a new door to me quick! The case was so nice I bought another.

Off by 1/16 of an inch many problems do not buy
It’s not at all easy to put together if you’re old, arthritic and use reading glasses like we do. The screws are hard to handle because we’re not using a screw driver to hang onto them. The screws are a good size and at least for the million times we dropped them we could see them because they are a good size. Thank goodness an extra if you lose any package was included because not enough were in the original here’s all you need packages.Either the glass or the cut marks were off by 1/16 if an inch. We had to actually recut the groove on the bottom. This of course meant that the top piece too was off by 1/16 of an inch and it too had to be cut. I’m not fully done putting it together with all the extra cutting and chiseling but I’m expecting the doors to be off by 1/16 of an inch as well. The back piece is in two sections. It would have been better if it was one piece because the object is to have the display shelf keep the dust out. Also, the two back pieces are only kept together because they are attached to the two side glass panels and the wooden top.I advise having it placed exactly where you want it because this cabinet is not designed to be moved-ever. I’m praying that the shelves will sit in it properly with the distortion in the cut of the glass.Follow up:It’s together and the shelves sit just fine but the doors don’t close!!!! The holes are so far off that the doors overlap!!! I thought hey maybe it’s this lock and key thing but noooo. Cannot place the lock and key on because it will not match up with the hole. Why a lock and key anyway? It’s glass. If someone wanted into it they would break it.On further inspection we decided that the hinges might need loosening to allow the doors to hang properly.Thank goodness I married Mr. Fixit because he was able to work around all the problems with his handy tools.

Does well for the price
I’ve had this glass case for about 3, almost 4, months now. This case does very well for its price. It holds together and I haven’t seen any issues with things falling or breaking. The instructions recommend that you have TWO people put the case together, and I recommend as well. I was impatient to wait for someone because we moved and I wanted my collectibles put away. Though it is possible, be prepared to be frustrated doing it on your own. The larger glass pieces are pretty heavy, and the back two glass panels are held together by a small, thin, plastic stanchion. They sit in the wood grooves, while you and another person connect the back two pieces into place with this small piece of plastic. When I did it on my own, I had it against the wall in the place I wanted it, and was EXTREMELY CAREFUL with holding them up. Don’t do this on your own, unless you have the confidence of putting it together without it falling and breaking. The only other main issue when putting it together was the doors, they are also difficult by yourself. The pieces that hold the doors at the top corners, don’t fit snug and will fall out, if they’re not being held. The door could use a better design, in my opinion, but once they’re together, they’re okay. So be wary of the doors. I have the strap at the top screwed into my wall for extra protection to help prevent falling, but I’m sure if it did fall, it wouldn’t be very strong. Also, the locks are kind of useless and I don’t know how they work, but I didn’t want to use them anyway. Overall, the case is good, just have to people set it up, and don’t get your hopes up on a decent lock for the doors lol.

Affordable display shelf but has Q/C (Quality, Control) issues.
I purchased 2 of these display shelves for an In-house Tech show to display the unique parts that my company custom designs and builds Machines to inspect for deviations/defects in quality on automotive, Aerospace, medical And industrial components. The packaging (box and layered protection it arrived in) held together well as it was delivered via FedEx. Upon assembly/inspection while removing from the boxes/layered protective sheets most of the glass was scratched with very noticeable marks on the glass on both top and bottom on both sides.Due to my deadline of needing the display delivered and setup, I will have to just deal with the manufacturers quality control issues.Short of the very noticeable scratches/marks the cases are easy to assemble and the description is very accurate to what you receive. If I had more time I would have called the seller/manufacture and requested a replacement/refund depending on their return/redelivery process. In short, good shelf/display for the price and assembly process but be sure to order with plenty of time to get replacement glass or entire units.*( I will post pictures on damage when I go back to the shop)*
