This vac has surpassed all of my expectations. Suction power is great. I rarely have to go up to higher level. Base level of suction works great on sand, dirt, dust, dog hair, etc...It will adjust power automatically if an area has more dirt. It maneuvers effortlessly over the floors. I have only a couple short pile area rugs and this cleans them well and fluffs up the pile. My rugs look almost new after using this! It's amazing how much fine dirt/sand this pics up. Much improved over my old vac. It works like a dream on all my bare wood floors and easily gets around and under all my furniture. The lights really help to see pet hair and other debris hiding in dark places and corners. Side suction is outstanding along baseboards. The telescoping duster works great for cobwebs on the ceiling, dusting ceiling fan blades and light fixtures. The trigger stays on unless you squeeze it again to turn it off....unlike pricier vacs that makes you squeeze the trigger the whole time. The vac is not heavy ( I believe it states around 6 lbs) but it takes a bit of getting used to this type of stick vac where all the weight is at the top. At first feels a bit unwieldy but you will soon get used to using it. You do feel it in your arm after a bit and I often switch hands in order to get a balanced arm workout, lol. The wheels and swivel of the head make it SO easy to vac!Emptying the dust cup is a cinch with the push of a button over the trash can. The cup is small, but so simple to empty one handed that it isn't a big deal. All of the attachments click on and off easily. The included attachments are great.Because it is top heavy, it will NOT stand on it's own. You must store securely held on wall charger base resting on floor. If you don't want to install wall charger, you can snap it apart to store top ( motor) , stick and head on a shelf. The wheels roll VERY easily so just propping it up, especially on a smooth surface, won't work. It will roll and the top will come crashing down on floor.Battery power is impressive and I was able to vac all the floors in our 2k s.f. home on a single charge. It charges back up quickly as well.Having a true HEPA system of 2 filters ( washable) helps to keep dust where it belongs...not blowing back out all over your home. Breaking down the vac to rinse filters is also a cinch. The whole set up is simple, intuitive and high quality.I highly recommend this vac. I've wanted a cordless stick that would work well daily to suck up all the German shepherd fur blowing around our wood floors. If you have bare floors, this works great and doesn't scratch them.So easy and actually fun to use every day. Very happy with this ( and not having to pay $800 for it!) and I'm hoping it lasts a LONG time.Also, I need to mention how quiet this vac is! The dog doesn't go into another room anymore. Nice!

First of all, this is not a "bought" review!! Just ordinary folks that are very impressed with this product.We bought a PrettyCare cordless vac, the reviews were okay so we took a chance...we're sorry we did. I won't go into it here but don't buy one.We decided on the Levoit from other reviews and being a known name. We opted for the package deal with extra battery and filters. It came fast! Unboxing was straightforward, well packaged and nothing broken or missing. We were impressed with the overall appearance and quality of the vacuum and accessories. Everything fits together nicely. First thing was to charge both batteries, charge time was just a couple of hours per battery.Using this vacuum was very impressive to say the least. Our floors are the LVP "wood" flooring, one 7'x10' area rug and several small bath mats. Our dog is a Pitt/Queensland Heeler mix, not a bad shedder but he does lose some hair. The swamp cooler leaves a fine white particle on the bare floor that is hard to sweep. This vacuum picked up every bit and even cleaned the joints of the floor...all on the "auto" setting which was low. Amazing!! The dog hair was a breeze for this vacuum! The large area rug was clean in no time still on the "auto" setting. You can hear the suction automatically pick up in areas with a little more hair/debris but goes back to low on less dirty areas! The "intelligent" feature of this vacuum really does work!! Being that the beater head of this vacuum is electric powered it does not excessively drain the battery when left in the "auto" mode. The edge cleaning capability of the beater head is just as good, if not better than most upright vacuums!!Overall this is one very awesome cordless vacuum for the money!!! You could spend more but why! You could spend less but i wouldnt! Would I recommend this vacuum to anyone...ABSOLUTELY!!! Would we buy another one if it was ever needed...ABSOLUTELY!!!If you need a small cordless vacuum for everyday cleaning regardless of floor type I don't believe you can get a better vacuum for even twice the price!!!

Vacuum is a bit heavy after some use, the battery isn't impressive, removing the small dust container often creates a small mess, the ergonomics of the handheld unit isn't all there, but it sucks. It sucks so much it captures more than I expect it to. Owner of 4 hairy pets and it does an excellent job at getting rid of fur and the dust it brings, as good, if not better, than other high end cordless. I would say the vacuum brush feature on this vacuum rivals corded ones. The LEDs are a life saver because it does an excellent job at spotting fur. However, it is puzzling how the variant of this product to include the pet brush adds nearly 80 more dollars than what I paid for the base model, with no way to purchase separately. That's a brand new battery for this vacuum. The vacuum brush is good enough for pet owners, just irksome in some situations. Gets the job done right in a portable form factor for a competitive price.
