Babies in the Forest

I bought these books for centerpieces for my daughters baby shower. I bought five different books. They looked so cute and now she can read it to her daughter for years. It's a cute, sturdy cardboard book and the baby loves it.

This book is so sturdy! The interior flaps are sturdy as well! My 11 month old was immediately drawn to the art and colors! The cardboard itself, is strong too and has withstood the inevitable knawing that infants do to books! I plan to buy all the books from this author and collection! Would make a great addition to a baby shower basket too. The art is beautiful and the story itself is very sweet and simple!

Although I purchased this book for my niece, I previewed it in advance. I have an affinity for foxes, and seriously considered keeping the book for myself. The pages are interactive, the colours are magical, and the illustrations are beautiful. A must buy for young ones to explore.

Cute baby book

I bought this book for my 9 months old who is very much into books with flaps. Unfortunately the images in this book are too small for the baby to focus on what is hidden behind the flaps. The pictures themselves are of muted coloured animals on a muted coloured background, so the characters just don't stand out. This book might be better suited for a two year old. Otherwise it seems quite solid and sturdy.

Pro: Very thick have no worries about my 10 month old tearing the flaps. Cons: The "story" doesn't flow at all the wording is VERY strange.

A regular book we read. Bought it for her as a baby but my now toodler still loves to open the thick flaps. Easy to open because there is a gap around the flap so she can do it herself. Thick pages. Cute art work and story. Bought one as a gift for someone else too. Bought the Babies in the Ocean one as well. Seems like a nice line of books.
