ARCCAPTAIN Flux Core Welding Wire .030, E71T-GS Mig Welding Wire 2-Pound Spool Gasless Mild Carbon Steel Compatible With Lincoln Miller Forney Harbor Welder

I recently tried out the ARCCAPTAIN Flux Core Welding Wire for a series of DIY welding projects, and I was quite pleased with the results. This wire works really well with my Lincoln welder, making it a great choice for various mild steel tasks. One of the things I really like about this wire is how smoothly it feeds through the welder. This makes a big difference, especially when working on longer welds. The bead quality is excellent, and it produces a consistent, clean weld with minimal spatter, which means less cleanup afterward. Using it for some mild steel repairs and small fabrication projects, I found it performed admirably. The welds were strong and looked professional, even without any gas shielding. The convenience of gasless welding is a huge plus for me, as it simplifies the setup and makes outdoor welding much easier. On the downside, it does produce a bit more smoke than solid wire with gas, but that's to be expected with flux core wire. As long as you have good ventilation, it's not a big issue. This welding wire has definitely earned a spot in my workshop for its reliability and ease of use. It's perfect for DIY enthusiasts like myself who need a dependable wire for various welding projects.

Great stuff. Great price. $100 cheaper than Lowe’s. It says less spatter and I agree. You be the judge. I’m not a welder so don’t trash my work, nobody is paying me for it. lol. The spool feels a little sloppy in my Lincoln promig 140 but it rolls like it should so that’s all that matters.

Good wire. More smoke and flux residue that I would like but lays in a good puddle. I am going to reserve for heavier welds rather than for fine work. Update: Gave it another star. This wire has a lot of flux and a good flow. I can get more material laid in and with less spatter than others I have used. Also, am finding any flux residue is easier to remove than others. I mean "to reserve for heavier welds" in a good way. This will be my go to for a heavier bead. I do not do heavy beads all that often, but my other wires cannot do a heavy bead as easily.
