I actually had to buy this because we had bought a dress for my daughter and all the grommets were popping out when I would tighten the corset part of the dress. Bought this as needed delivery that day to get it fixed and replaced all the grommets on the dress. It was quick and easy and affordable.

Purchased to add a way to hang a relatively large graduation banner that was thin and I was worried about ripping. The kit was very easy to use and kept the banner from ripping and made it so easy to hang. Would purchase again (but I won’t need to) and will suggest item to others.

There’s a trick to the tool.. and the quality of the grommets isn’t the best .. but after finding the trick it’s great

It is great quality for the price, when working with this tool, I recommend using a soldering wand to pre-make the holes especially when working with satin.

Exactly what I need for a hobbyist. The grommet went through thin fabric easily and I won’t use it daily. Easy to use. Suited my needs perfectly, so good value.

The grommets as they split they form sharp edges which for my project are a great big no-no. Taking a hammer to finish then is barely acceptable as it still leaves the sharp metal tears arround the grommets. I'm not sure how to mitigate this issue when using grommets but I'm still looking for a good answer. Otherwise joining two fabrics or pieces of leather is a great use of these grommets and the included tool.

I will say the tool is not great. The price was fine but tool not worthwhile. Even followed directions still ruined project. I used practice pieces first. I'm glad I didn't completely buy it for the tool and that is why the 4 star
