It looks great
Looks like it will work, have not installed it yet, it looks like what we wanted, preparing our place for our old age, like that it folds up.

Overall, solid and sturdy, folds up nicely
This seat is well-made and pretty sturdy. The main challenge is installation. Screws with plastic anchors are provided but it's a little deceptive for the seller to suggest they are adequate for mounting in drywall or tile over drywall. They definitely are not adequate, as has been noted in other reviews. They are not strong enough and they will absolutely pull out at some point. Unless you are mounting on a wall that is backed by solid wood, the only safe and secure way to do the installation is with anchor bolts. There are several types available, but Fliptoggle or SnapToggle (which I used) are the easiest. These bolts require drilling 1/2" holes but if you are mounting on ceramic tile, glass or porcelain you will need a special drill bit. An oversight in the installation guide is that it doesn't mention using silicon sealer around the anchor holes. If you are installing inside a shower, this is absolutely necessary because without it water will eventually seep in and cause water damage behind the wall. Another thing, a little annoyance, is that the template provided does not specify the distance from the top of the seat to the center of the top mounting brackets (~9cm), which is needed if you want to set a precise height for the seat. But once you get the right anchor bolts and drill bit, silicon sealer, and align the template, the installation goes smoothly. And once mounted properly, the seat is very sturdy. It folds down easily and folds up and stays securely in place. I'm happy with it and proper installation wasn't beyond my skillset, so I was able to workaround the product's shortcomings. If you're handy, it won't be a big challenge. But if you're not handy, find someone who is to do the installation for you.

Looks great and the quality is great too!
I was surprised at how nice this shower seat looks! Once installing it, I sat in it and it holds me easily. I'm a decent sized guy too, far from small! I got this because I have had surgery and it's hard for me to wash things like my feet while standing. So I got this and installed it. Installation was super easy for me as there are a lot of studs in my shower wall for some reason. Installation: Definitely know that you will have to install this into studs. If you install it into sheet rock and not the studs- it WILL come out and you will likely hurt yourself from the fall. So get you a stud finder and figure out where all your studs are so you can install this on the right place. If your studs don't align perfectly, find someone handy (or do it yourself) and install some boards horizonatally so they attach to your studs. You'll need to put them in a way that you can attach the top and bottom mounts from this onto the boards. You'll also want to go over those boards with something like marine paint, outdoor paint, or waterproof sealer like deck sealer. That'll keep your wood from rotting the shower from the moisture.

Broken
After installation, following all directions, the unit came out of the wall with only 20 lbs of pressure on it. Ridiculous. Now we have to Jerry rig a fix so my mother in law can actually use it.
