Great Foldable GMRS Antenna
The ABBREE GMRS Antenna is a 42.5-inch tactical antenna designed to enhance the range and performance of GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) radios and other communication devices. This antenna offers a combination of increased signal reception, durability, and portability for various outdoor and tactical scenarios. One of the standout features of the ABBREE GMRS Antenna is its impressive length. With a total length of 42.5 inches, this antenna significantly extends the reach and coverage of GMRS radios, making it suitable for activities that require long-range communication, such as hiking, camping, and outdoor adventures. The SMA Female connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices that use SMA connectors, providing versatility and ease of use. This makes the ABBREE antenna a valuable addition to your existing communication equipment. The tactical design of the antenna adds to its durability and practicality. The rugged construction ensures that the antenna can withstand outdoor conditions, including rugged terrain and harsh weather. This robustness makes it suitable for military, law enforcement, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The portability of the antenna is a notable advantage. Despite its extended length, the antenna can be collapsed and easily stored or carried when not in use. Its impressive length, SMA Female connector compatibility, rugged construction, and portability make it a valuable tool for outdoor enthusiasts, tactical operators, and anyone in need of reliable long-range communication. Whether you're navigating remote terrain or participating in outdoor activities, this antenna can enhance your communication capabilities.

Cool antenna not an out performer
Came packaged well. Looks cool. But the stock antenna outperforms when keying a repeater 8 miles away.

Great distance booster
These have greatly increased reception and transmission in our area. Great addition to have if you are stationary.

Great antennas
Really can't go wrong with ABBREE antenna. I've got the two shorter folding antenna for our vest GMRS radios. And now these two monster antennas for our tactical radios. They all seem to be well made and despite folding, I've never had an issue. Reception/transmission is quite good. We are in the Sauk Valley, northwest Illinois and can receive and transmit quite well through the trees and buildings tested to over two miles outside the valley. I call this excellent for our needs. Highly recommended. P S. I should say that this antenna isn't really meant to be fully deployed all the time. I carry my radio antenna combo twice folded until I need to contact someone.

Did not work
I used this antenna to replace a ducky antenna on my new Quansheng radio. The original ducky antenna worked well .. picking up a regional FM broadcast station very well for example. This ABBREE antenna did not pickup the FM station at all. As if the long portion of the antenna shorted out the much smaller bottom portion of the ABBREE. Oddly that much shorter bottom section of the ABBREE alone would allow the radio to receive that FM station. Hence my conclusion that the overall ABBREE antenna was defective.
