I purchased this to use for visiting a cold climate as it would protect my whole face. It was perfect and did a good job at keeping me warm from the cold air. It is thin and stretchy, extremely good value for the inexpensive price. I did pull the opening down so my whole face was visible on some occasions.

My husband uses this for under his cycling helmet on cold days, would recommend it as it’s comfortable, keeps you warm and is easy washed and dried

I bought this to keep my head warm at nights as I try to keep my energy bills down. It's comfortable to sleep in and doesn't interrupt my sleep pattern at all. I keep it under my pillow. It's well made and stretches well. I imagine it would be great for wearing under a helmet too.

Not sure if the model has a tiny head or I have a massive head, but this seems very small. Mind you , the gap in it for the face is huge so theres that.. not much coverage for the neck either, doesn't go down very far (insert your own joke here !! ) you get what you pay for i guess

For the price I didn't expect much but needed some balaclavas' for my hiking during the colder months. Well what a surprise! These are excellent and well worth the money. They are super comfortable and keep the cold at bay whilst allowing you to breath, even when pushing hard up a Lakeland fellside. I wear them as a hat, a balaclava and even as a neck scarf and they do the job just grand. When I got the first lot (I have bought two lots they were so good) it was early autumn and I didn't intend using them in winter. Well I have just been on the tops of the Peak District in -4C and they are perfect. Warm enough without sweating like Rolf Harris on parole and cool enough when the sun eventually puts in an appearance.. They fit loose enough so that you don't get a big red ring round your face that makes you look like a freak who peers through port holes. Yet they fit snug enough so you feel secure and all cuddled by lycra goodness. Get some you will not be disappointed. :-)

these are the best i have found warm and not tight soft and comfortable good value for money .

I am a man of mature years with very little thatch left on my head. I wear two balaclavas at a time and they keep my head lovely and warm.

Good for these days, 10-16 degrees. Definitely not for winter use. In my opinion. I found nek to be a little short. But overall it's pretty good.
