Bought this primarily for the waterproof/water resistant feature. I tested it with a mist and it immediately absorbed and soaked the pre filter. It might be useful as a dust filter but it is more restrictive than other pre filters ive seen. Do your self a favor and get name brand and avoid this.

It fits perfectly. Helps prevent fine dust being sucked in without restricting airflow. Build quality could be a bit better.
