Awesome but scary powerful tool!
I needed a new cordless 1/2” drive power ratchet mostly to replace all the front and rear suspension components and brakes on my 2009 SUV and chose this DeWALT 20V Atomic Max (bare tool only without battery because I already own a pair of 20V DeWALT 5Ah batteries and a pair of 2Ah ones as well). $133 for the bare tool is a great bargain, but if you need to pony up the extra $ to buy one with a battery, it'll be worth the money! This guy is powerful and I found out the hard way it's better to use it in a short bursts mode (pressing the trigger handle momentarily a few times) rather than holding it for fully automatic, so to speak. If the bolt or nut you're tightening reached the max torque of the wrench the handle will keep spinning, and with its long length plus the weight of a 5Ah battery on the end, it'll easily and quickly slam your hand into whatever is in its way, so take caution! And btw, this guy seems to max out somewhere around 20-50 ft/lns of torque, so only use it to get things assembled then use a good click torque wrench to perform the final tightening to the proper torque setting. Overall, it’s one of the best tool purchases I've made in a long time, and I've bought a LOT of tools!

Best price and quick delivery! Saved me from going to store and wait for someone to unlock a case .
Bought as a gift for my son. He is very happy with it and has no problems at all.

Neat tool
I love this thing. Outside of tight spots (its a little bulky) it's basically my go to ratchet. I was concerned about the torque but it really doesn't matter. It operates manually just like a standard ratchet so you can break loose or final tighten with normal wrist power but it saves the frustration of having to drive out those super long bolts 1/8th turn at a time. Just break loose then hold the trigger. Awesome tool. It's Dewalt so the quality is awesome. I haven't found the battery limit yet. It's held all the way through all the jobs I've used it for so far without even dropping the battery indicator so I imagine it's about an all day of regular use on one 6ah battery.

Great tool!
Should have bought this years ago, you can use it like a breaker bar to break tough bolts and run them off the rest of the way. Makes jobs on the truck go way faster Love it!

Perfect for reaching bolts in tight places
Before I say anything, I am very happy because it showed up 3 days sooner that they said it would. I am very happy with that. I like that it has variable speeds. It isn't very strong for torque but it still acts like a ratchet when it runs out of power. It is a bit heavy for when you are laying on your back and reaching up and around trying to fasten or unfasten blind bolts. It uses the same batteries that I already had. So far, it works great. It was a tool I was missing from my kit.

I wish I had this years ago!
Pros: Fast, powerful and built tough. Cons: It has a bit of a learning curve, one thing is it needs “room” to get some speed. If you are holding pressure in the direction you want it to go, as in its tight on the bolt it doesn’t have a ton of power. One trick is to back it off, say you want to loosen a bolt. Put it on the bolt as normal, but before hitting the trigger, turn the whole wrench as if you are using a normal ratchet to tighten the bolt. Don’t actually tighten it, just give the wrench a little slack to get a jump start. I was able to take off some rusty bolts on my rear bumper using this technique, and my 20v impact driver couldn’t get them to move. Another “downside “ is the size. It is long and kinda thick. It is what it is but I would also love a compact version or one with a head that adjustable angles. Bottom line is it’s definitely worth the money.
