Great product
This 3D printer is a budget-friendly marvel that astounds with its remarkable performance and affordability. As someone deeply interested in 3D printing, I was initially taken aback by its low price point, but upon testing it thoroughly, I found myself pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. Firstly, the print quality is exceptional. Despite its cost-effective nature, this printer produces prints with sharp details and smooth finishes, rivaling more expensive counterparts. Whether crafting intricate prototypes or functional components, the results consistently meet high standards. One standout feature is its user-friendly interface. Setting up prints is a seamless process, thanks to intuitive software and straightforward controls. Even novices will find it easy to navigate, providing swift access to the world of 3D printing. Furthermore, this printer boasts impressive reliability. I’ve executed numerous prints without encountering significant issues or failures. Its robust build and consistent performance make it a dependable choice for hobbyists and professionals alike. What truly sets this printer apart is its affordability. Despite its impressive capabilities, it comes at a fraction of the cost compared to similar models. This makes it an excellent option for those on a tight budget or anyone curious about 3D printing without committing significant financial resources. In conclusion, this 3D printer is a standout performer that exceeds expectations without breaking the bank. With its outstanding print quality, user-friendly interface, and unbeatable price, it’s a compelling choice for anyone interested in exploring the world of 3D printing.

Way better then mighty
I had the mighty and it had 70% failed prints. Then after a week of use it stopped working. I got this and though the build plate is smaller it’s more consistent with prints.

Prints great but only for less than a year
You're better off spending $600 just buying what you're looking to have printed. Between this printer, the resin and the plastics to replace the resin vat, and now at lease $100LCD screen that just decided to go out after a very mild amount of printing in less than a year. Its funny they only support the LCD screen for 3 months and that is really the main thing that make the whole printer run. If you can get it for really cheap I'd recommend it because they don't support their LCD screens for even a year. Garbage I won't buy another one from Phrozen moving forward.

Overwhelmingly satisfied and will buy more
I am overwhelmingly satisfied and I am saying that as an additive manufacturing / 3D printing professional since 1999. I have many Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K printers in a high volume production application for 2 years now and have been working flawlessly. I can see how some users have had challenges but they can all be overcome with the right support and experience. I will purchase many more of these as our production volumes are increasing steadily. The printer is amazing and the printed parts are amazing.

Worth the money, Be sure to educate yourself on operation before ownership.
Worth Every cent. If your new to printing, be sure to educate yourself on operation before ownership. There are other tools you will need in addition to the printer alone, which works phenomenally. In addition to any printer you're going to need a few things: A fan (resin smells, Phrozen resin not so much), as well as a low light work space to modify post print / pre-cure projects that need working over. Cutting tools (for supports), Alcohol ISO 70%+ but 91% is best ( to remove excess resin pre-cure), An U.V. light around 405-420 nanometers wave length aka black light (to cure), Gloves (resin is NOT skin friendly), Paper Towels (for resin & ISO & messes). Slicer Software to make .ctb files (lychee slicer or others) All that being said the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8k is a WORK HORSE! It has Very large print bed for a "Small printer" and all the parts are made of high quality plastics and metals. The motors are very quite, it's well ventilated, Fast, Super adjustable, and Most Importantly. It's unbelievably accurate, this 8k printer is MAGIC! On the down side, as a North American Consumer, the manufacturer is over seas (England / Taiwan HQ ) which leads to longer delivery / Lead times. Also due to the young age of this Model Sonic Mini 8K there are not a lot of accessories available yet. While Older 4k models have flex plates and drip plates, ect, ect. Would still recommend 100% as Phrozen has nowhere to go but up from here! Get yourself Printing and join the Fun!

Would definitely recommend...
I love this printer, I was amazed at the detail I’m able to get out of it. I ended up buying a sonic Mighty 8k because the sonic mini was too small, but I kept the mini for smaller prints I like it so much. It’s easy to use and I’ve had alot of success with it. I am definitely satisfied with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.

WARNING: Amazing print quality, extremely poor support
First off, the print quality from this printer is awesome (see photo). When everything works as it should, you should have some very nice prints. The problem is, if you have issues with the printer, trying to get support. Almost immediately, I found the printer would stop printing at the last 1 or 2%. It would say there was an issue reading the memory card, and to unplug and reinsert it to fix the problem. That wouldn’t fix the problem. When I contacted customer service, tech support emailed me (from Taiwan) detailed emails asking me to trouble shoot problems to narrow down the issue. After they asked me to install new firmware, the printer stopped printing all together. Eventually they were sending me polite, detailed emails asking me to disassemble the printer, unplug electrical components (which were glue together) and use a multimeter to test for electrical issues (see photo). I have a multimeter and wasn’t uncomfortable doing that kind of work, but I feel for many customers that wouldn’t be the case. I understand the company is in Taiwan, and they want to narrow down the issue and send only the problem part to replace, but this kind of dissection and troubleshooting of the printer seems inappropriate for the end user. The likely hood of causing damage while trying to do this, when done by the average user, seems pretty high. I’ve decided to sent the defective printer back to Amazon, especially seeing how it’s already taken a week of this back and forth and the printer has only gotten worse while I fast approach that 30 day return deadline. I would only recommend this product is you are very tech orientated and comfortable disassembling and troubleshoot electronics like this. Otherwise, I would look hard at other companies that might have more reasonable tech support.
