Finally a frisbee my Mini Aussie can chase without wrecking his mouth
I grabbed the Chuckit! Paraflight disc because Thor my Mini Aussie is basically a frisbee and Jolly Ball addict, and the hard plastic ones were getting a little too rough on his mouth. I bought the regular size in October 2025, and we play with it nearly every day. It's his second favorite toy. (Jolly Ball still reigns). I’m always hunting for the gentlest toys that still fly well, and this one hit that sweet spot immediately, plus it floats too! It’s soft, super easy to throw, and it glides in this slow, floaty arc that gives him plenty of time to track it and actually catch it instead of face-planting. He latched onto it instantly and now drops it at my feet like it’s his life mission. We can play for 15 min straight with a few water breaks in between. The material feels gentle but surprisingly sturdy—he does his usual grab-and-shake routine after each catch like it's a prey and it hasn’t folded or warped. And I really love the blue color since dogs see blue, yellow, and white best; he locks onto it fast even in tall grass. Also, because it's so lightweight, my arm isn’t dying after ten minutes, which is a minor miracle with this dog. He gets worn out and somehow still hungry for more. Makes me laugh, makes him happy, and it's safe, so it's perfect! The only small thing is the orange stitching is already starting to come loose, but it seems more decorative than anything structural, so I’m not too bothered. The disc itself is holding up great. If you’ve got a fetch-obsessed dog and you want something gentle on the mouth but still fun to throw, this is such an easy win. My guy has basically made it his new favorite toy, specially when his jaw is tired of grabbing the Jolly Ball. Buy it! You will not regret. It's perfect for active dogs, herding breeds like the Australian Shepherd, Mini American Shepherd, Border Collie, Poodles, etc. Though he learns everything super fast when I teach/train him. I didn't have to teach him to fetch. It is ingrained in his DNA. 💙🐾

Great Soft training frisbee for dogs / puppies that flew surprisingly well!
This is a super “training frisbee” for your dog or puppy to learn on without making a mistake and knocking their teeth out. My GSD loves to chase her frisbee but was nervous to attack it. So a few tosses with this and she chomped it! I made a motion of my hands like a Pac-Man and clomped it while tossing it straight up (not like a frisbee yet) with a spin in the air and she seems to understand. She sniffed and watched it blink I to trees and after three shots she’s caught it! She was very proud and tick tick tick trotted it back to me with her tail and head held high! Its flight patch was surprisingly good! It really spun well and much farther (or is it further? I always forget which…anyway,) than I had ever expected a cloth disc to go! I am not great at throwing discs despite my age and having the same glow in the dark moon lighter frisbee since 1975 or 77 but this thing really flew! It did SO much better than the flying squirrel which was just a toy thrown through the air. This glided and spun, and cascaded quite beautifully with its para flight ability or whatever it’s called. I thought it would suck but it blew me away for less than a fin! After 5 min with this, she caught an old yellow disc golf I found but was afraid of the green chewed up nerfdog disk which flew great but was like a saw blade in the air. The blue one didn’t fly as it was warped. THIS WON! It’s so light , you won’t knock out any windows or teeth. I used it in the house but that went as one would expect. I have a very small and very full house, though. Outside, in mild wind it did surprisingly well!!! As well as the frisbee, nerfdogdisks (better than the green and the blue) miles better than the flying squirrel rope circle and performed as well as the disc golf driver disk! It floats too! Flew just fine after getting wet also. I was really surprised, I thought it would be a indoor training frisbee only but it’s amazing outdoors! It won’t go 200’ ultimate style but neither will my dog..,yet? Anyway, it is a Great product! Only downside is if your dog is a chewer. My shepherd isn’t, she’ll give it a shake if it hurt a bit or if she really wants to kill or snap the flying circle’s neck —- whatever dogs imagine when catching n shaking discs— but if your doggo wants to eat it’s prey, it won’t last. It is totally safe for puppies imo. I’d use it with my puppy if she was 12 weeks old and chasing things but make the reward another toss versus gnawing on or ‘gutting’ the toy. 5 stars all day! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ it’s durable for this kind of okay but wouldn’t be at All if your dog doesn’t “drop it” or is a chewer. Super fun at dog park!

Great Dog Toy Ever
It is being called, "the greatest dog toy ever". Well, my Australian Shepard calls it that and I have to agree with her. It flies great, very tough, and easy for her to catch. Honestly, they are fun for humans as well. For dog owner with an energetic dog this is a must buy.

Great disc to throw for pup, but durability is an issue with daily use
I bought 12 of these for my dog in May of 24, by November, all 12 have been used until they would no longer throw and disposed of, so as one can see, with daily use, they last about 2 weeks on average. Even though durability is an issue, I still continue to buy them because my dog absolutely loves chasing and catching them and it's a small price to pay considering the amount of exercise he gets out of each disc. I have learned that even when the foam around the edges is ripped and flapping, most discs will continue to fly pretty well, especially if you wet them before using them. I learned the way trick recently as one got stuck in a tree and I used the water hose to get it down and found when partly destroyed, wetting then makes them fly almost like new again. So had I known this trick, my others would have lasted longer than 2 weeks and I'd still have some extras, but that is just life right? You live and you learn! I always wait until they have good sales in here and have socially paid in the 4-8$ range for these discs and I just bought 4 more that will hopefully last me until the spring. Hope that helps someone out there like me who's dog is quite rough on the disc and uses them frequently.

Charlotte-Approved Frisbee — Safe, Fun, and Durable Enough for Our Regular Play
My 60 lb dog, Charlotte, absolutely loves this frisbee. I keep coming back to it because it’s lightweight, soft, and gentle on her teeth — no worries about dental damage when she catches it mid-air. It flies beautifully and is easy to throw evenly, even if you’re not a pro. On rainy days, we even use it indoors — it’s light enough that I don’t worry about breaking anything. I keep this on Subscribe & Save every two months, which fits our play style perfectly. As you can see in the photos, this one is at the end of its life after two months — not indestructible, but durable enough for how much we use it. I also know that if I take it away right after playtime, it lasts even longer (Charlotte strongly disagrees with that plan!). For the price, the Chuckit! Paraflight is a great value and a toy we’ll keep buying. Highly recommend for any dog who loves fetch and frisbee time. Just be prepared — your dog might love it as much as mine does! 🐾

Small is Waffle-Sized, large is about Dinner Plate sized.
The Small is about the size of a Waffle. It's very small and not the most accurate through, but the dog loves it. I bought the small after our large one drifted over a fence into an inaccessible area. It was my fault, got the small to save a few dollars. It makes no difference to the dog, he loves them both, but the large is much better at gliding, is much easier for the dog to catch, is a great size and firmness for a nice medium to long distance throw, and the softness is excellent. These are great disks for a dog that loves to fetch. They are not durable tug-toys. I should have bought another large for practice catching, but the small on sale got me and it works for chasing.

A great toy for any active dog.
This dog frisbee is soft for their mouths and flies great. Our dog loves catching it but not returning it. He likes just laying in the grass and chewing on it, a good thing that it's as sturdy as it is. He prefers chasing this to a tennis ball.
