Absolutely love this set! We have quite a few Melissa and Doug sets and every single one of them are amazing quality which is why the high price point but they are totally worth the value you pay. The materials are heavy duty and you would have to work extremely hard to break them. This set itself is certainly set at the correct age range too so as long as you stick within that range it is safe.

The Star Diner Restaurant Play Set kept my kid busy for hours and she hasn't gotten bored with it yet. It's very cute and well made. It has a good variety of items. The way they designed the drinks was pretty smart (the circular coffee pieces flip over so you have 4 choices of drinks, and the milk shakes flip too so there are 4 choices there as well).

4yr old daughter loves this! She loved her play kitchen before but now she really enjoys having a menu to give us and be able to make that exact thing on the picture. Very fun for pretend play! All the food is double sided, which make sure easy to store it all in a play kitchen. And it's all wooden, which is great quality (except the coffee pot and cup, which make sense).

Cute product. Always play restaurant when our granddaughter is visiting. Would give it five stars but was missing the play money.

I have purchased two of these sets for my girls who absolutely love to "play restaurant". The second set just allows for another "customer" as each set comes with a single plate, cup etc. which is my only complaint. I happened to get the 2nd one on a good sale or Id have settled for a single set. My kids and their friends have used these sets a lot! Well put together, good quality and super fun for imaginative play! Great for little ones as young as two.

We recently got a cubby cafe for our 3 yo which she uses as a restaurant. This kit is so amazing as it has utensils, crockery, a little bell and some play food. We get hours and hours of play with this.

I really like this set. From the moment we opened it my 2.5 yr old loved it. She was walking around taking orders from me and my husband and they weren't accurate when delivered but she didn't care. She liked making the food and serving it, especially coffee. My one wish is if there was a way to make it look like there was actually coffee in the pot but otherwise it's awesome. I highly recommend, the set seems well made and it will last for some time. Daughter isn't old enough to play with he money yet or use the pen but I have set them aside for now. This would also make a great gift. I especially like the bell it comes with, I didn't even realize it came with the set until I opened it up.
