I prefer this type of blade as opposed to the hobby type exacto sort. They are exceedingly sharp and changing is much handier than unscrewing a piece of handle then inserting the blade and re-tightening. These slip on the handle and stay secure until you’re ready to put a new one on.

Used for debriding warts. Worked very well and I recommend this item if you are needing to cut away dead skin of any kind!

Not just razor sharp, these a are dang sharp! Very handy for shop use when you need to cut something small precisely. Should be used with extraordinary care.

I had purchased this product before as a 10 piece pack with handle. I use the blades to scrape corrosion from vintage motherboard traces and they work fine for that, but I was down to two pieces and needed to reorder.Many reviewers have commented on the nice storage case that comes with this package, but there were no pictures so I took a chance on what the case would be. I find that efficient storage cases are important, and sometimes buy tools based more on the storage case that comes with it than the tool itself. This is a nice storage case with living hinges and a firm snap closure. It looks like it will last a while and will be reusable for my next blade purchase. It's nice to have a proper fitting case so the blades aren't stored loose or in their original paper box. I'm posting pictures so others will know what the case looks like before they order. I'm happy with the blades, as well as the little case.

For all you hobby knife users, once you try a scalpel you'll never want to go back. Sharper point and edge, stronger and cheaper than name-brand stuff. I'd go through 3 hobby blades before 1 scalpel blade.These #11 blades are my staple for crafting and model-making. Cuts easily through fabric, plastic and wood without the tip breaking. Make sure you have a cutting mat or waste material under what you're cutting because these blades are SHARP!

Great for my anatomy lab work. Each blade is appropriately wrapped in a sheath and each grouping of #50 blades comes in a latching plastic case. This makes storing and transporting them easy and safe. The sharpness of the blades is good as well, assuming you're using proper technique and not cutting a lot of fat or thick connective tissue, the blade doesn't dull quickly and makes wonderfully smooth incisions. I would happily buy these blades again. My scalpel handle is a #3.
