Very snug needs some elbow grease
It's not a plug and play... Recommend soaking in heated distilled water to loosen the tubing to fit over the Barb's.

Leaking on pump housing.
I had this in my system for a little over a year before I got a leak. Now, it actually wasn't incorrectly assembled, it was due to the cheap Acetal shell on the pump. The metal fitting shredded the threads in the acetal block that matches the reservoir to the pump. I was cleaning my loop taking some dye out and switching to clear water when I accidentally had the fitting at an angle, by the time I realized it the thread on the 'Out' port of the housing was already destroyed. Since a replacement one is months of shipping and too much money I used a G1/4 adapter and plenty of plumbing tape that works well on pipes and got it fitted and tight. After a few weeks there was no issues! I was stoked! I fixed it with my plumbing know-how, or at least I thought....A few days later and my pump wasn't turning on. I thought maybe that my wiring was too tight, but it was plugged in. I removed the pump/res fromt he system and tried again... Nothing. I drained my loop and had the pump just pump water into the Radiator on an out-of-case setup and it turned on!!! Then died a few seconds later. In frustration I tore the Pump/Res apart and behold! Water had leaded through the pump/res acetal block, or leaked out the 'Out' port and somehow worked into the board on the pump, which I thought was protected from the housing. So this is a good deal, because this is a cheap pump/res kit. While the actual pump isn't bad, the housing it's in is. Be warey and don't screw in any fittings until you've checked them 3x.
