I bought this product because I wanted a good quality water bottle that was big enough to hold a gallon of water. I also wanted one that was BPA free and had a wide mouth opening so that I could easily add ice and fruit.I have been using this water bottle for a few weeks now and I am very happy with it. It is made of high quality plastic and it is very durable. The wide mouth opening makes it easy to clean and the handle makes it easy to carry. I also like that it comes in a variety of colors.I am very happy with this product. It is a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I originally purchased this to use as an add in to my counter top ice maker. Though it would work perfectly, I could not use it as it would not allow my ice maker to fit on my counter top under the cabinet. Repurposed it for my coins.

this is perfect for the top loading ice maker i bought . would have been a 5 star if it came with the cap with a hole in the center but i was able to drill it out . Not a real big issue . Any that have a water cooler will know what i am talking about . good purchase.

I have several hydroponic gardens and I need to top them off regularly with nutrient water. I like to make up jugs of water in advance to use when needed. I have a jug very similar to this that is Aerogarden brand, and if I leave that clearish blue jug next to grow lights for extended periods of time it will develop algae. Well this black jug solves that problem. I just wish it came with a pour spout like the Aerogarden jug, but that's a minor quibble.

- there is some confusion over the safety of the plastic used in this bottle. It is true that the plastic type is marked 7 on the bottom, but it is also clearly labeled as BPA free. Type 7 is basically just any plastic that doesnt fall into the type 1-6 categories. My best guess is that this is some copolyester plastic like Tritan that is BPA/BPS free and used in things like water bottles.- I got this to use in an icemaker that has a water bottle adapter. I modified the screw-on cap that came with the bottle by cutting a round hole in it to fit in the adapter and then cutting a + slit in the foam cap seal (I will eventually replace this with a silicone disk cut from one of my food grade silicone mats). It worked perfectly.

I ordered the gallon size and it was busted.I sent a email and told them about it. They rushed me one and got it the next day. I was glad because I hate adding water to my ice machine. The gallon container makes it so much easier.

Perfect for my ice maker.
