This product saved my dogs ear. I had been struggling for two years and spent 3,000 just on vet prescriptions and antibiotics and my dogs ear would be the same in the next week or so. This product I was able to see how much it was cleaning my dogs ear in the first 2/3 days. I applied 2.5ml on each ear and then after 10 days I applied Osurnia® (florfenicol, terbinafine, betamethasone acetate) the reason why I applied pyoclean Otto for 10 days is because my dogs ears were terrible and swollen from irritation.

The Demoscent Pyoclean OTO Dog Ear Cleaner-Drops has made my dog very happy! She is almost 14 years old, and her biggest health problem has always been her ears which has resulted in many visits to our vet. The drops are so much easier to clean the entire ear area and she has less anxiety. I have been flushing out her ears once a week to flush out of the bottom of her ear canal to avoid infections. She absolutely hated that, not to mention how messy it was when she shook her head. She does seem to mind it when I put in the drops, and I have noticed that she has not been shaking or rubbing her head on her dog bed. So far, so good!

These are designed to put one full dose per ear which means an entire tube goes in to one ear. This makes it easy to get the right amount as it is premeasured. Our dog didn't like these going into her ears any more than anything else we have had to put in them. We dosed her right before bed and noticed the next day that she was shaking her head a lot less than she had been. We're three weeks after a single dose now and she is still shaking her head a lot less and when she does it seems more like it is out of habit than necessity. This is the only thing we have found that helps her with the head/ear shaking.

After an ear infection, our vet recommended that we flush my Labrador's ears weekly. My dog absolutely hates the process. With normal applicators it takes two people to hold and apply the cleaner and afterward he shakes and shakes and rubs his ears on any available surface. These single doses are easier to apply, the dose is fixed, and the dog seems to tolerate them better. The problem is they are pricey - at least twice or more the cost of other brands in squirt bottles.

These work as described. You get a good number of tubes with the cleaner which contains safe essential oils and such. We put some drops into the dog's ear canal and then rub gently after using a cotton swab soaked with this cleaner to remove any dirt and wax. I would never have thought of this as a gentle maintenance item for our dogs, but we had a recommendation from the vet and bought the OTO cleaner. No problems using it, the dogs are 50/50 on the use :) Their ears are more pink in color and clean and the head shaking and scratching are way reduced which is what we wanted.

I used this for my cats ears since she was shaking her head. It helps to clean her ears out and is easy to apply. It can get messy if you don't apply it correctly however I learned how to apply it after the first attempt. It comes with a decent amount so I would recommend.

It doesn't seem to be helping as much as I expected it to, I was excited when I saw there was something that might finally help my dogs ears, I'm hoping it might just take a while for it to show improvement so I will update if it works better than it has so far. Each tube is only for 1 ear so you have to use 2 for each application.
