Amazing EDC backpack! Just the right size and quality is second to none!
Absolutely Love this backpack!! I had been trying to find a backpack that would be large enough (but also not too big), for EDC to go to and from college classes, as well as being used when traveling as a carry on or road trips for long weekends. As soon as I opened the box and saw the backpack I could tell how well it was made. I absolutely loved the dark orange with the black accents, it definitely has just a great color for outdoor vibes. The zippers are amazing, they glide so smooth and just love the rubber pulls on them. Super easy to grab and use without getting caught. I tried Jansport but the zippers on that backpack were AWFUL. Constantly getting snagged and no where near designed to last. This bag has a small fleece pocket for valuables like wallet, keys, sunglasses etc. Then has two other pockets, the middle one is for organization it has a couple mesh pockets that can hold things like a charger, a small zipper pocket, and a couple Molle like webbing to hold pens/pencils etc. Then the larger pocket has 3 separate dividers, two are lined to hold a laptop and tablet, the divider between them doesn't have the fleece lining but is great for more organization and can hold things like folders or notebooks. All in all such a great backpack. I didn't want something too big as I am petite at 5'2, and this bag really is built to last. I had one other Opsrey pack when I went to South America, but this is my first backpack (non-hiking pack) and the quality from this brand is incredible. I know it will last for many adventures to come so I am excited to see where all I travel with this companion! If you're looking for a solid EDC backpack that is comfortable, well thought out, well built, and is able to withstand elements on long hikes or other adventures, definitely check out this one! :)

Great backpack!!
The Osprey Axis laptop bag is an excellent everyday carry that really delivers on comfort and space. Ot has more than plenty of room for a laptop, notebooks, chargers, and snacks you will need to prepare for those long days at school or work without feeling bulky. The layout makes it easy to find things quickly, which is a huge plus when you’re on the go., which seems like all the time for me. The color I chose looks even better in person, clean, modern, and versatile and it stands out among other packs. The padding and back panel make it extremely comfortable to wear, even for long periods. Overall, it’s a well-designed, reliable bag that feels built to handle daily use with ease.

Great work bag!
This is an outstanding commuter backpack. For nearly a decade, I relied on the lightweight REI Flash 22 as my go-to pack, but as it started to wear down, I struggled to find a worthy replacement—until now. This bag strikes the perfect balance for city commuters who want something lightweight but functional, avoiding the bulkiness and over-cushioning of many modern designs. The bag’s mix of cushioning and durable fabric is ideal, and its storage is truly exceptional. The three main compartments make it easy to separate clothes and electronics, while the numerous dividers and organizational pockets keep smaller items easily accessible. Unlike single-compartment packs that turn into “black holes,” this design eliminates the frustration of digging around for lost items. The inclusion of daisy chains for attaching elastic cords enhances the bag’s versatility, and the water-resistant zipper endpoints are a thoughtful touch for extra protection in unpredictable weather. I do have two minor, personal complaints. First, the shoulder straps lack a sternum buckle, which I think would improve fit and comfort. As a male, I find the straps overly cushioned, causing them to roll off my shoulders instead of lying flat. While I could buy an adapter, there’s nothing to anchor the sternum strap in place on the existing design. Second, the side compression straps could have been more versatile if the buckle positions were asymetrical. This would allow them to function as a cross-buckle across the front of the bag, ideal for securing an extra layer, like a jacket, while hiking. Despite these minor issues, this bag excels as a commuter option with incredible storage, thoughtful features, and a lightweight yet durable design.

Great Hiking Pack, Not Ideal for Work
I bought this Osprey backpack hoping it could double as a hiking pack and a business bag. For hiking, it’s excellent — lightweight, comfortable, and really well-designed. But for professional use, it didn’t quite work out. It’s too flimsy to stand on its own, which makes it inconvenient when using it as a laptop bag or in office settings. Perfect for the outdoors, but not the best choice if you need a sturdy business-friendly backpack.

More space, high quality
Needed some more space than my work-provided bag had, and this bag has much mroe space, fits well, and seems high quality.

Osprey - consistent quality and great value
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been looking for an everyday backpack. I have Osprey products and love them so when I saw the great price on this bag, I decided to order it. Of course, it is built well and looks great. The materials are fantastic, the organization is great, and the color is pretty. I think it would be a great bag for the price for most people. For me, it didn't work because it is a bit bigger than I need for everyday and it did not stand up very well. Value for money: Definitely value for money.

Versatile, all around backpack
I bought 2 of these backpacks; 1 for my son to use in high school and now college and 1 for me to use for work and general hiking/travelling use. The backpack easily holds a 15" MacBook Air or a 14" MacBook Pro as well as an iPad. We love all the compartments and the padding to protect our devices. It is quite light which makes it easy to take places. We've taken them hiking, on airplanes and they have not failed us. I'm a little concerned about the water bottle pockets failing, but haven't seen that, yet. We've own a number of backpacks over the years and these are hands down our favorites.
