Yes, it loses air
First let me tell you how much I enjoy this pillow. I use it to sleep on in bed. The design is so unique. Luckily I am a back sleeper so the shape and design are perfect. I suffer from no medical ailments and am fortunate not to have any musculoskeletal therapy needs. I just needed a comfortable pillow. I had been using a Temper-pedic roll pillow which I like, but wish it were just a little bigger/firmer. This air adjustable pillow is perfect in that I can get the precise density and height to be comfortable. One added plus is that it leaves no hair flat spot bed head when one wakes up.But now the bad part. I have already ordered two of these pillows. There is a slow air leak to the point that after 8 hours of sleep, it has leaked enough air to be non-supportive to my neck/head. I was going to return the second pillow, when I got to thinking that there is nothing else to replace this with on the market. The most logical source for the air leak was the rubber/plastic bulb and valve. So I inflated the pillow and pinched the hose with a locking plier to test if the valve was leaking. To my amazement, the pillow kept its inflation for a few days. So I searched for a replacement rubber bulb with a metal valve used on older blood pressure monitors. Now it works perfectly. There is also a plastic pinch hose clamp which can be purchased for the 5/16" hose if you wanted it to be perfectly sealed. I will use this as a backup if needed. As far as the noise this pillow's air bladder makes, I did hear it and think it is related to the level of inflation, but it doesn't bother me. If I hear it any more, I will put a light spray of silicone down the inflation tube. Don't use anything else for it might deteriorate the rubber. The key to his pillows comfort is the saddle shape for me. It self centers my head and neck in the center. If my head is slightly rotated, I get additional support of the ends of the pillow.I am only hoping that the manufacturer will come to realize that the repeated failures of the current design can easily be fixed just by using a better pump/valve. I can strongly recommend this pillow only if the additional parts are updated by the purchaser. I got them all on Amazon for $5.

Very Helpful
I needed something to help lesson the tension on my neck and shoulders as I am propped in bed most of the time. I was a little concerned about buying this but am so glad that I tried it. I can lose a pillow and use this several times a day for great relief on my neck and shoulders. I've even slept all night with it and no issues. I prefer it with uninflated most times as it gives me just the support I need. It may take a day or so to get used to it but I use it every day. You can feel the tension leaving as you lay on it. On side has an extended part that eases the shoulder part of your back. Depending on the type of pain I'm having is if I use that side or the plain side. I'm so glad I decided to get this and recommend it to others that suffer from tension headaches, sore neck and shoulders, etc. I would love to have a slightly smaller size should they ever come available but this works just fine for me as it is.

Too big
It was uncomfortable for me to use so I had to return it. There were no problems returning it, so that was goof

I wish it held air for more than 10 minutes
When inflated, this pillow helps a lot. I pump it up and then fall asleep as it deflates. My rating is lower than it would have otherwise been, because it deflates itself completely within 10 minutes. I don't want it completely inflated all night (ouch), but I wish it would hold some air for a longer period, because I like to sleep on a stiffer pillow. I would rather deflate it myself after 15 to 20 minutes of traction, leaving some air inside for overnight. That said, this pillow has helped a lot with a years-old stiff shoulder and neck.

This pillow is saving me.
I had a whiplash about 40 (!) years ago and I’ve had issues with my neck ever since. The only thing that helped was a neck pillow — for three years, I was fine; no headaches, no crunched neck, until it was just too worn out. I’ve tried many since then and nothing has been just right — too high, too hard, too soft — until this pillow. It is adjustable and holds my neck at the perfect extension. I feel elongated when I wake. It’s fascinating because it is affecting muscles and spinal alignment all the way down my body. Now I spend a few minutes with it under areas of my upper and lower back. The stretch almost hurt at first, I was so tight. Now, it’s feels amazing. Even my hips have realigned.I’m not sure how it would work for everyone, but for me, it’s been a godsend. I am buying another for my computer-using-and-gaming son.The cover is I wish they had a separate pillow case — that would be my only wish.

Waste of money
Know I could inflate and deflate it, but….how is supposed to be used. Didn’t come with instructions. How long should it be used? 20 minutes, sleep all night? Softer used to…?
