Suprisingly Impressive Build Quality
This thing is a pretty darn good V Block. I was expecting a pretty rough finish, needing stoning off, as many V blocks at this price point seem to need. But it arrived in very good condition. Essentially zero touch up required. Just wipe the shipping oil off. It indicates as square as any of my blocks or squares can measure. The magnet is guut-und-tite as it mounts to the bench, slightly less pull on the work. I think that's an ideal balance. I want a little more magnetic force on the block to table face than I do the block to work face. I'm buying a second one. Thanks - Lumpy

This is a good value for the money.
The surfaces check out as accurate and parallel as spevified.

Just a great tool at a very reasonable price.
Great magnetic v-block. Super strong magnet, on/off lever is very smooth. You can vary the strength of the magnet with the on/off lever. Good size for my needs which is to check concentricity between diameters on machined parts. Even got a 5% off coupon from Taylor tools to be used on my next purchase. I like this just as much as the companies Starret block, it's that good.

Pretty Accurate
I bought one for work and when back to a grinder figuring it would need squaring up. Typically I have to do this with most china tools I buy but thats ok because I am able to. This out of the box checking in parallel and square within 0.0005 all over. I ending up leaving it alone.

Super product.
The on / off switch works great, Very smooth operation. I purchased two of them, one I use for welding projects these are perfect for not throwing off my arc. They also work super for my shear press brake. I set the angle and can repeat it again. They are definitely worth the money.

Disappointing. Weak magnetic. Not machined straight. Avoid!
I bought two of these to hold a 1" round shaft for milling. I've had good luck with magnetic tools like this in the past. Sadly, these are not up to the task. I used them on a clean, flat, cast-iron table with 100% contact and with the magnetic on, I could grab ahold of them and slide them. I tried clamping them in a vice and then using that to hold them in place. The shaft that they were supposed to support, just slid along. The magnet is not strong enough to hold these for any sort of machining. Buy some cheap v-blocks and use a couple clamps to hold your piece in place. You'll end up doing that anyway but if you don't buy these, you'll save your self the hassle of returning them.

Well made
I use the V block to support small cylinders for even diameters and thickness. The V block supports the cylinder while its being rolled while the stylus of a dial test indicator which shows variances. .
