Always good quality. I have used “Let’s Resin” products for many projects and it is always reliable. It cures rather quickly, is easy to mix and dries hard and clear. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to start using resin with their wood projects or for casting molds.

I was using resin from my work place, a hobby type store. However, that stunk like mold and mildew, bubbled like mad and yellowed super fast. It was a pain to work with. This Crystal Clear is way above everything. From quality, price, size, odor, demolding and bubbling - I'm so glad I switched to this. I've only had one instance of flash curing and that was completely my fault. Zero issues with demolding, with or without using a mold spray. Debubbles nicely without a machine, it's crystal clear, takes the colorants easily - both commercial pigments and inks as well the various pigment pastes that I've made myself to test. Really enjoy having such a long work time as well. It lets me experiment with new ideas. The bottles are a bit wonky to pour from, but not a big issue overall for me.

Love the gold mica that came with this set, also the stirring stick and cups are a huge plus, the resin itself smells as strong as all other brands I’ve tried and cures about the same, maybe quicker but i wouldn’t know because I didn’t check till after the 24 hours so it is possible… the added items make it worth it tho but if u have them already id just buy whatever brands on sale at that time

Make sure you put plastic down this can be very messy! This was my first attempt of using epoxy. I used it to do cylindrical pieces which really was a challenge. I recommend using flat long miles instead of round ones. Just as a beginner. I didn’t have a problem with it touching my skin but I did get annoyed with the odor after a while even though it was quite slight. I just recommend a nice ventilated area when you work. I’m not a fan of epoxy now. I found it very challenging and not gonna do it again but it was worth a try for me as an artist. I feel the quality of the product is very good and you will get a very good result if you follow directions to the letter. It’s just not enjoyable to me! I can’t give her a bad review for that reason. So I would give it five stars is quality

I love in Arizona and this epoxy resin works well even in the summer heat and holds up well in my garage when working with it. I store it inside though when not in use.

Perfect for pours. It is a pouring resin, not a coating resin, so keep that in mind. I used it to make a beautiful chess/checker game (as well as other projects), but is my go-to pouring resin. Always cures with a beautiful shine and crystal clear. The checkers and pieces are just perfect. There are very few bubbles or micro bubbles. I mix it 1:1, stir gently for 5 mins, then use a vacuum machine to remove the remaining air bubbles.

C’est une très bonne résine mais elle est très visqueuse, il est donc préférable de la chauffer un peu. Le mesure en volume est un peu déconcertante, personnellement, je préfère les mesures en poids. Toutefois elle ne fait pas de bulles et sèche assez rapidement.

It was my first time using resin as an inlay for a woodworking project, Lets Resin 2.4l casting resin does exactly what it says on the sellers website. Everything you need for mixing, colouring, pouring and protecting the working area is supplied in the kit, the supplied instructions are detailed and precise. The resin and hardener are very easy to mix and colour, the viscosity of the resin allows easy and controlled pouring and offers nearly an hour of working time. Leaving the resin mix for 10 - 15 minutes post mixing/colouring allows the resin to become 99% bubble free meaning minimal use of a heat gun/blow torch to remove any remaining bubbles. After the recommended curing time the finished resin inlay was excellent, even though the resin was coloured there were no streaks in the colour and no bubbles. LETS RESIN 2.4l Crystal Clear Casting Resin Kit is an excellent product, in my case, for modelling / inlay work. I would use LETS RESIN casting resin again without any hesitation and highly recommend this product.

Ich verwende normal ein anderes Epoxidharz (Epodex) das auch super ist aber etwas dünnflüssiger , was nicht bei jedem Projekt ideal ist, und ich wollte einmal ein anderes ausprobieren. Ich habe zum Vergleich zeitgleich jeweils etwa 250ml von beiden Harzen gemischt. Das Let's Resin ist schon beim mischen etwas dickflüssiger. Von der Blasenbildung ist es ähnlich, also nicht sehr viele Blasen die auch schnell verschwinden, wenn man es etwas stehen lässt. Es wird dann mit der Zeit noch dickflüssiger, also man kann sich nicht allzu viel Zeit lassen, aber grundsätzlich ist das super wenn man bei einem Projekt dickflüssigeres Harz benötigt. Im Gegensatz zum Epodex (5cm Gießhöhe) ist es beim stehen lassen im hohen Becher auch nicht warm geworden. Länger als max. eine halbe Stunde würde ich es aber nicht stehen lassen, dann wird es zu dick. Es vermischt sich gut mit Mica Pulver Farben, andere habe ich noch nicht verwendet. Eine gute, auch für Anfänger geeignete, Beschreibung liegt bei. Etwas seltsam fand ich aber, dass in der Beschreibung eine minimale Gießhöhe von 1 Inch (also gut 2,5cm) angegeben ist. Vielleicht ein Tippfehler? Meine verwendeten Formen sind zum Großteil flacher (tlw 5mm) und es hat gut geklappt. Aushärtungszeit: ich habe beide Harze gestern Nachmittag in die Formen gefüllt, heute früh war es zum ausformen bereit. Es war allerdings auch ziemlich warm im Zimmer (schätze um die 25 Grad). Die Ergebnisse sind sehr schön geworden. Damit man sieht ob das Harz klar ist, habe ich eine Form ohne Farbe gemacht (siehe Rose vom Foto). Ist sehr schön klar geworden was man am Foto nicht ganz so gut sieht. Die Rose ist auch ein guter Test zur Blasenbildung, da es bei der Form kaum möglich ist in den Blütenblättern keine Blasen zu bekommen, das geht nur mit sehr viel Aufwand, den ich diesmal absichtlich nicht betrieben habe. Habe nur die Form nach dem Eingeben ein bisschen gedrückt und geschüttelt und dann einmal kurz mit dem Feuerzeug an der Oberfläche die aufsteigenden Blasen beseitigt. Das Ergebnis ist dafür überraschend gut geworden. Nur ein, zwei vereinzelte Blasen in den ganzen kleinen Ecken. Bei den anderen Formen sind gar keine Blasen, da hab ich, ausser mal kurz mit den Feuerzeug drüber, gar nichts gemacht. Gemischt wird übrigens 1:1 nach Volumen (nicht nach Gewicht!) Ich persönlich bevorzuge das Mischen nach Gewicht, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Fazit: super Harz, einfache Anwendung, tolle Ergebnisse. Werde ich sicher auch künftig wieder kaufen.

El producto llegó bien. El kit es perfecto. Es clara como el agua si la dejas reposar hasta que las burbujas se rebienten. Pero la dureza no es como dice, si la pieza es demasiado delgada es flexible y el tiempo de curado son 24 horas. Muy caro en mi opinión.

Ich habe dieses Produkt von Lets Resin nun schon zum zweiten Mal erworben. Die Qualität und Menge ist ordentlich für kleinere Projekte. Da ich Würfel mit Inlays gießen wollte, habe ich mich für ein schnell härtendes Produkt entschieden. Das Resin hat bei mir etwas länger für die erste Härtephase gebraucht, aber das kann an der Umgebungstemperatur gelegen haben. Nach vier Stunden war es noch nicht bereit, aus der Form genommen zu werden. Acht Stunden später hatte es aber eine gute Härte und konnte weiterverarbeitete werden. Einfärben mit Mica-Pulver ist kein Problem, das beiliegende Pulver eignet sich auch sehr gut dafür. Das viele Zubehör macht es Einsteigern sehr einfach, gleich mit dem Spaß zu beginnen. Die mitgelieferten Handschuhe sind stabil und halten sogar mehrere Arbeitsgänge durch. Fazit: Ein gutes Set für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene. Das Resin härtet gut aus und die Blasenbildung hält sich in Grenzen. Bei komplizierteren Formen ist eine Entlüftungstonne ratsam, oder eine kleine Rüttelplatte, auf der die Form platziert werden kann. Ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert.
