Purchased to replace another make which died after over enthusiastic cleaning . There were two Levoit models which suited our needs but we chose this one as it had a slightly larger footprint with lower height so we thought it less likely to be knocked over and also we though this looked better than the other one with the faux wooden lid. The illustrations appeared to show the container as clear, in reality it is slightly obscured which I prefer as it won't show every water mark. The build quality is excellent, our previous model was some years old and issues that had have been designed out making it very easy to clean, and they do need to be cleaned regularly, in our area plastic gets a pink coating which I believe is bacteria from the water nothing to do with the humidifier. The app is excellent though once a schedule is set up to turn on and off I never touch it. Very happy with this purchase.

I’m a keen tropical plant collector and have purchased a few humidifiers over the years. Keeping my rooms at certain humidity levels is important for me and this humidifier is the best I’ve bought yet. Easy to clean and maintains the required humidity levels. Access control away from home is great with the app. Highly recommended

Was bought, to aid sleep for astmer suffer, work's very well, and has top fill, even better, word to the wise, don't put tap water in the unit, if you live in a hard water area.

What to say, it works and does its job! I can't say for sure the pet filter works differently to the standard... but its helping clean the air, pulling in dust and dog hairs.

I'll update this review if Levoit are able to provide a fix, but essentially, as others have said, the humidity sensor on the product is massively inaccurate, rendering the 'target humidity' setting absolutely useless. For context, the humidifier is saying the humidity in my bedroom is 70%...in winter...with the central heating on full blast. The real humidity is nearer 40% (verified by two other devices), meaning the humidifier sensor is incorrect by a factor of 1.75, or 30% too high. The machine appears to work well enough when set manually or on constant, but the 'target humidity' (i.e. 'set and forget') function and many of the smart features which make this item so expensive are useless due to the inaccurate sensor.

I wanted something to clean the air of any cigarette smoke in combination with my electric smoking ashtray. The combination of the two items together and what the smoke-eating ashtray doesn't get this does. I'm very please it works great.

Très bon humidificateur. Le mode automatique est très pratique, il suffit de donner la consigne et l'appareil gère l'humidité seul. La diffusion du "brouillard" est très efficace et le taux d'humidité grimpe rapidement. La fonction connectée est un vrai plus, tout est paramétrable depuis un smartphone de l'allumage au réglage du taux d'humidité. Le nettoyage de l'appareil est très simple. Je recommande.

These replacements are cheap and they work. I wish they lasted a little longer but we have a lot of dust in our house and pollen in our area. I can tell a difference when I put in the new filters. And honestly, I'm glad they're not $50 or something. I keep a back up of filters and replace the back ups. They last about three months and that's a decent amount of time. I have two of these purifiers at home so It's $80/year to keep everything nice. Also, these filters keep out bad smells. If the room smells bad I just turn the purifier up to high and within 10 minutes the smell is gone. I'm always afraid that our house will smell like musty pets and these filters work! people don't even know we have pets! We bought a couple extra filters this morning when we had to stay in the house to avoid the smokey madness! They turned brown within three days so I know they were working to keep the air smoke free! 10/10 would recommend! love the purifier and love the filters.

The packaging and the quality of the filters is great. But the price is very high. Replacement of filter-kit costs as much as a new purifier device itself.
