Nataraj Metallic Super black pencil - pack of 10

One of my favorite pencils. Smooth and dark. They sharpen well and are pretty.

Very nice pencil. Great finish and colors. The graphite isn't quite as smooth as others from this company but the product proved quite suitable.Fast delivery too.

Graphite-wise, these are pretty nice writing pencils. They are a bit darker than a Ticonderoga HB, but lighter than a Tombow 2558 B, and do not feel scratchy at all. However, the quality control is poor; nearly every pencil has sloppy and/or flaking paint, and one pencil looks like it was crushed by something. They also met my X-ACTO electric sharpener with so much resistance that I thought the motor might burn out. However, they work fine with the included handheld sharpener, and it does produce a nice, long point. The eraser is sufficient, but not great. I really wanted to like these pencils more, because the metallic colors are beautiful, but there's nothing special enough about them that I would buy them again.
