Still working great since 2022! I'm a diabetic and use a mini fridge to keep my insulin safe and ready when needed. Also keep some snacks and orange juice for critical lows. Purchased this temp & humidity sensor in 2022 and it's still working great in 2025! Visibility is really good due to it being an e-ink display. The battery life is awesome. A lot of temp sensors batteries don't last long in a cold environment, but this is the exception. I changed batteries in it approximately every 8 to 12 months. It uses the AA batteries. I'm currently trying out Eneloop rechargeables. Also, I have it connected to Home Assistant via MQTT, to monitor temperature and send an alert if the temperature gets too high. The Govee app is nice and does offer great data. This sensor is definitely accurate, as I've compared it to another of a different brand along with my thermostat. I can definitely recommend this if you're looking for something that's well built, easy to read, offers great battery life and is accurate.

I am amazed at how efficient and easy this is to use. I bought this for my greenhouse which is about 60 yards away from my main house. The thermostat needs to be in proximity to wifi. Once connected, I am able to monitor it from the comfort of my home which is very important during the winter, as I winterize potted plants during the cold season. I love that I'm able to set alerts for temp drops or if it becomes too hot for my plants when the weather changes during certain days in the season. It is a wonderful home gadget to have!

I have 2 of these devices and they are pretty much keeping the same temperatures. I also have a thermostat and a smart little thing motion sensor that’s been working for several years. They are in the same room and they all are showing the same numbers so I’m trusting them all to be accurate. I will be placing one in the rabbits room to keep track of the temperature. It only shows humidity on Alexa but when I asked Alexa what’s the temperature it told me. If only it could be set to turn on a fan, heater or ac when the temperature reaches a specific temp it would be possible priced right. But it’s not set up to work with Alexa in that way. Alexa needs to support these features it’s almost 2025

I put this into our motorhome to track the temps and humidity. I also have a hotspot on the motorhome so I can track various sensors while its stored. This device bluetooth paired with the android Govee Home app on my phone effortlessly then it was simple to setup its wifi connection to the hotspot, Seems to have a strong connection. I have it set up to report every 1/2 hr. The device records temperature and humidity changes internally every few min. then when sends its reports over wifi it sends all those records so you get the full picture, not just the temp at the time it sends the data.The elect ink screen is different, I like it, very easy to read at all angles and I believe it uses less pwr than LCD. Not had this long enough to know how long the battery lasts yet.Overall seems like its well built, Ive purchased other Govee items and I have liked them all.
