Unfortunately I must not have read the reviews or I would not have purchased this particular brand. I could get past the slime and fibrous texture, but it had a VERY harsh metallic taste to it, which I believe is not supposed to be there. I don't know if it is from the packaging or what, but I'm not eating this stuff. I have never eaten soursop before so didn't know what to expect, but I wanted the health benefits I had read about. Amazon was the easiest way to get it. Can't return it. Lesson learned.

People report a wide range of experiences with this fruit and I'm unsure of how many stars to give it. The fruit is sour and somewhat tart, but the characteristic I was nost negatively surprised by is it is impossible to chew it like normal fruit so you can swallow it. It is like chewing gum and doesn't break down in my mouth. I won't order it again, but it was an interesting experience.
