Used this to replace a lock on a classic caravan side locker and it works perfectly.Better to go longer than have the lock too short.

This lock replaced a broken one. Perfect. It now locks the mail box. Amazingly the key fits and if you turn them.....hey presto........it opens. 5 stars

Locking bar could be longer. Bit flimsy, don't expect it to hold up to a determined attempt to break into the post box but its adequate to stop anyone just trying to open the box
