Looks/works great!
The Napier worked great on my Lexus RX 350 SUV. Setup is straight forward. Only downside to these rigs is you have to break them down to go anywhere, but they are a good option if you are not moving or have another vehicle. With a full size inflatable mattress the wife comes camping again. Same material as a tent for the most part and to me much drier in a rain if not on the ground.

. Perfect for my wagon as solo-camper!
I reported shattered and broken pole which punched a hole on the awning. It's been a great product but I’m glad warranty exist and getting a new set! Thank you Napier!Update:2022. 7 months - pole shattered on one section and another section broke during a gusty evening. I would have been okay with that as I can look for a replacement. However it tore part of the awning where the pole goes through. Now it’s concerning me whether the product will hold long. I was pleased with the build and material but I’m a bit sceptical now. I love the product tho. Dear Napier: Help. Photos attachedI purchased model 61000 its the smallest that would fit our Audi A4 Allroad. This also fits well on our 2018 Hyundai Tucson. As far as fitting- one person can set it up in about 5-7mins. it slips onto the hatch door, attached onto the roof rack (if you don’t have a roof rack- they provide extensions to hook onto front mirrors.) Additional buckles secures onto the wheelwell, but I hook it up on my rear wheels instead. At this price, it is a whole lot cheaper than a RTT. However you only have the space that your car, in this case the audi Allroad, can provide - usually good for solo campers, a pinch for two. So of course an RTT would provide a better room to sleep for two or more(?). There are minimal gaps on the side and on top where the hatch and the rear roof meets. (See last couple of photos- The gap is not that bad since the actual material extends forward where it’s hooked up to the roof rack rails). Masking tape may help provide more “seal” but its truly not bad. It was a cold night when I had a trial (and wind advisory) but it held up well and provided shield from the cold air. You cannot turn on the engine to heat up the car as the bottom part of the attachment covers the exhaust. However, it doesn’t mean modifications could not be made to allow engine running while this is on. Having said that, I have a portable stove/ heater that sits in the back if I need a little bit of warmth (also have a 200w mini electric heater i use sometimes). With this tent on, it allows me to sit up at the back end of the cargo area and have privacy from the elements. I’m only 5’10” so it works well for me. Quality I have to say is excellent, good materials , good zippers. It does have a built in bug-screen along with the solid flap to shield from the weather. I am looking forward on my next camp out (when there’s no wind advisory whipping up 60mph gusts. Lol) This would be perfect this summer!

Great alternative to traditional tent camping
Size purchased: Small to Mid-Size CUV's and SUV'sCar: 2018 Prius C hatchbackOverall: I really like the Napier Cove. It definitely has a tent vibe, but I feel more secure and protected from the elements than I do in a tent.Pros:-Quick and easy to setup/takedown-Thoughtfully designed with adjustable straps and snug fittings. I don't have a cargo rack, but the tent comes with long straps that can attach in front.-The awning provides enough coverage for two chairs outside the door.-Rain proof (I've camped during two rain storms with absolutely no leaking)-Keeps flying insects out (zero issues with mosquitoes, moths, or flies getting in)-Adds about 10 inches of leg room and extra headroom at back of car (my Prius interior is snug, so this extra space to move around and stretch out is needed)-Good ventilation and views out the window.-Feels private (the screen door also has an additional flap for protection and privacy)-Lightweight, easy to carry/store-Looks niceCons:-Because I have a smaller car, the tent overlaps my back doors on the sides. I am unable to use those doors once it's up and can really only enter/exit through the screen door. From the photos others have posted, this does not seem to be an issue for everyone.-You'll have to take down anytime you want to drive your car. I typically camp with another person so we use their car for day trips.-I have had some issues with crawling insects (mainly daddy longlegs) making their way in. I believe they were coming from the area around the wheel wells, and once I adjusted the fittings and cinched up the gaps, they stopped coming in.Suggestions:-Set up your interior before putting the tent on the car. I've found this to be more efficient, especially since I can't open my back doors once it's in place.-Use string lighting or some other marker on the guide wires to lessen tripping hazards-Magnets can be used to secure any gaps or loose areas between the tent and car-The tent covers the exhaust so don't start your car for heat or air conditioning.

Car Glamping!
I picked this thing up as a cheap alternative to getting a roof top tent, and WOW was I impressed with how much it opens up the space! The car just feels more open and roomy, whereas previously my Outback could feel quite claustrophobic with everything shut. The design is smart, sensible, with everything working exactly how you think it should, and the air flow is great. I don't feel insecure with this thing on, as it's really just like sleeping with a normal tent now. Setup is done within four minutes, and it definitely catches up a conversation with other car campers in the park. For something like this to work, it really needs to be designed well and, being as niche of a product as this is, I really wasn't expecting this brand to deliver what I Wanted. After using it, I really do believe the folks at Napier actually thought this through because it clearly shows in all the little touches (like where things are secured and how everything fits together).Ive already recommended it to a few other friends who are considering car camping. Absolute winner!
