I order from AMZN constantly and almost never review but making an exception for this great clock. I wanted something that would show up as chrome in my bathroom and this does. Gorgeous. I was concerned about the hands as blue vs black but I don't have a ton of light in the room so they read black which is my preference. W light on in the dark hands are clearly blue. Second hand is a sweep and dead silent. Only issue is when I originally went to order to SoCal I got a pop up that said it 'wouldn't deliver to my area.' Odd. Luckily I saw a 'new and used' option and that one was deliverable no problem. This is a really pretty clock that doesn't look at utilitarian as some.

First, the "iffy's". I am a stickler for time accuracy and the Bulova Accutron movement is the subject of debate in wristwatch circles having more accuracy than a Rolex. The movement box on this wall clock is made in China. Okay? So what's going on here? None the less, this wall clock has the smooth, quiet sweeping second hand similar to that of the Accutron, but is a China movement instead. The clock does not come with a battery, which is good with me! I use Carbon Zinc cells for all my clocks(read up on that tech). Now the good; Appearance is absolutely stunning, its machined aluminum housing is very attractive and glints the room lights upon its surface. The face is clear, legible and the clear window does not glare out the view. It is pleasant to look upon, every time. IT IS QUIET. This is a true, silent clock. Last but not least, the clock accuracy. With a Carbon Zinc cell powering the clock, and tested up against my Atomic Clock, this Bulova wall clock is highly satisfactory to me over a course of time in comparison. The overall value, and quality is exceptional for the price point. Five stars.

The face has a light grey color and the number has aluminum color. It is hard to see the number due similar color. The hands are navy blue and easily visible. It can hang flat on the wall. The aluminum ring has tiny lines/groove on the front and the side, not sure if it shows up in the picture. The total diameter is around 9.8", 1 11/16" thick. It is small for a wall clock. The aluminum ring is attached by 4 clips, that can be easily removed. The glass is flat, not concave or budging out. The face is made of paper, like most clock. The clock is made in China, the movement box is also made in China by Youngtown Quartz. I bought this clock to replace the old clock that is not on time and make clicking noise. So far it is quiet. I can only hear the noise when I put the clock to my ear. It looks nice in the wooden frame. I could not buy a new clock because it can not be shipped to California. So I tried the used one, and Amazon warehouse shipped it. I am happy with this clock. I hope it is on time and remains quiet.

The clock has a very classy look, and runs silently and accurately, BUT in the short time I have been using it, it has already inexplicably stopped a few times. I tried two different batteries, both of which tested as good. The clock started again when I pressed or tapped the box above the battery.

I bought this clock for my laundry/mudroom because it matched the decor - I didn't necessarily have to have it be silent. However, I love this clock as I see it every day on my way out the door. The time is accurate, and it definitely look "elevated" in design. In fact, I'm looking for the same clock in a gold tone for my office now and not having much luck! The blue hands are a gorgeous color and the depth of this clock make it look much more expensive than it really is. The 10" size is also perfect - easy to see without making too much of a statement. It's classy and functional. The best of both worlds.

A very handsome addition to my bathroom

It took me three different clocks to find the perfect one. This is a great addition to my kitchen remodel. The sleek lines has it blending in perfectly with my other kitchen appliances. No regrets.
