This printer was sold as an open box unit. Possibly a return. However, it arrived in the original box from the factory and showed no signs of being used. It is a good printer and accepts aftermarket toner cartridges, which keeps the cost to run it lower.

I can count on HP to deliver a great product at a reasonable price. If this one lasts as long as my last HP Laser Jet, I'll be happy! Easy set up with on-screen instructions. The only adjustment I made was turning off the manual dual side printing.

This thing does not connect to Wi-Fi. But I’m so freaking tired of printers that do having major IT issues. I bought a Wi-Fi extender that has an ethernet plug-in. And then I bought an ethernet cable to plug this printer into my Wi-Fi extender. Now my life is simple with no stress. This thing Print so easy from every device in the house, including my iPhone. The best purchase ever.

I purchased the printer via Amazon resale, used-like new, because I have had good results with other devices. The savings was great. I took off a star only for the packaging. I’m otherwise very pleased. There was packing paper at the top of the box but the sides were unpadded, so the printer was loose in the box, free to bounce around. The paper tray on top was scratched. That could have very likely been a result of shipping, but either way just cosmetic. There was no usb cable included, so I used the one from my old printer. That’s all I needed to do to print instantly from my laptop. I then used the Ethernet cable (which was included) to connect the printer to my router, and it was instantly a wireless printer, findable by any device on the network. No other setup was required, and it prints fast. I’m glad the product wasn’t damaged in shipping (other than a tiny scratch), and so far I’m happy with my purchase.

I took this printer out of the box, plugged the power cord it into the wall, plugged the USB cable into the printer and computer, turned on the printer, set English and USA on the panel. That's it. I brought up a recipe file and printed it. I have an iMAC M4 running Sequoia. Evidently the driver was already in the computer. Fast, beautiful printing.

Really great printer. Prints nice and crisp thin lines. High resolution. Only annoying thing is connecting to it. Sometimes the connection can be spotty, but once it's connected it works like a charm.

I ordered 3 of these for a client. They kept going into sleep mode and you had to turn it off and back on to print. Seems they have to be connected to the internet and print through TCP/IP or something. This client doesn't have internet ports available right now. Direct USB printing only. One was wouldn't install correctly then died. No reset or screen. Error buttons flashing. No communications. HP knowledge base was zero help. Do not waste your money. I returned all three and the extra sheet feeders with them I ordered. Sad waste of my time and client's time. Now I have hours of messing with these and I cannot bill for that. As the solution failed.
