Has anyone had any success with this product eliminating quack grass?

I use this solely for quack grass! Depending on the maturity of the grass, it may take more than one application to completely kill it, but it has been successful for me. Be sure to follow the product's directions, and avoid spraying when the grass is stressed.

Is Fusilade pet friendly

All herbicides, insecticides and fungicides are useful for their EPA labelled use. None are "pet friendly" or for that matter weed friendly. They will kill weeds if used appropriately. I researched over 1000 herbicides while doing crop research for UCCE between 1958-1991 in field, and occasionally garden situations, applying with a backpack sprayer. Never did I notice any spymptons from any herbicides measured out and applied. No dogs were ever present but being mammals like me, I suspect they are quite tolerant to a low dose of Fusilade II. Otherwise, EPA would not register them on garden/yard sites after appropriate controlled research. Rest assured that if you applied it to select weeds your dog will not notice it. Toxicologically, Fusilade II has an LD50 of about 10,000 mg/kg of body weight in mouse and rat studies. Aspirin is about 1,500 from a single dose.Animal kingdom organisms degrade trace amounts of "toxins" all the time in the liver, but most toxins are excreted in the urine or feces. If not for that, we would not have an overpopulation of cats, dogs and humans on the planet.

Can i use this to kill crabgrass. also will it harm the ornamental plants? the crabgrass grows right underneath the ornamental bushes and is hard to

I used it to control the weeds around trees, no harm came to the trees, but I don't know about ornamentals.
